Helikon-TexBaseball Mesh Cap

I should've grabbed this sooner. As a summer cap, it's perfect, and it's noticeable even how much airflow I get driving with the windows down compared to a meshback.Some reviews had mentions of build or quality issues but I haven't found anything wrong with mine. Even the loop field on front for patches is closer to dead center than other similar patch-capable caps I have.

I love the interior sweatband that keeps the sweat from running in my eyes on hot days and the mesh is very breathable. Keeping in mind that this hat IS entirely mesh, those of us with shaved heads have to take precautions to not get roasted on sunny days. I like the velcro patches on the hat since I've gotten a variety of my state's historical flag patches and can swap them out as I see fit. I use the velcro on the back for rank insignia, the velcro on the adjuster for a name tag but haven't found a use for the glint-tape square on the top. Spectre gunships don't normally fly around the prison that I work at.......

This has become my go to hat. Its mesh cools my head during play and work. I am sure I look cool in my truck. It has velcro web for adding my new patches to show the world. It has earned its place as my favorite.

I bought 2 of these. one was a perfect fit but the black one was assembled kinda weird. I had already removed the tags otherwise I would have returned it.

Not sure who designed this one, but it was super small. The head band is adjustable, and that would fit just fine, but the hat itself only fit over the crown of my head. It was so tiny and sized so strange. Very small. And I shave my head, so it wasn't a hair thing making it fit strange, it really was just a super small hat.I also found the material used was very stiff and uncomfortable, just irritated my head with 100% of the area touched by the hat. The brim was also covered with this plastic like material, so bending and flexing it to any type of shape was about impossible.

Great product. Excatly what i wanted. Keeps the head nice and cool while still offering protection from the sun.
