Uni-Ball Impact Bold Point Gel Pen Open Stock, White

As anyone who scrapbooks, does mixed media, graphic arts, or any other artistic, creative outlet knows, finding a good white pen is horrible. A white pen that consistently works, lays down an even line, is bright white, and doesn't skip is truly harder to find than Big Foot. Not anymore, though!I came across these white pens several years ago when I was on a quest to find a decent white pen. I literally bought EVERY white pen I could locate - whether that was locally, or online. If I had heard of one residing on the moon, I would have been after that! I purchased many, many white pens. There were similar issues with every single pen. I was beyond frustrated - I was downright angry. I had spent years looking for a decent white pen, but it appeared none existed. UNTIL I FOUND THIS ONE.The ink flow is smooth and nice - it's a great feeling to write with these pens. The line is relatively thick, not micro-thin like some pens. You are able to color in a small section with this pen - and it won't look splotchy and "line-y". It almost jumps off dark paper, especially black. It is exceptional for doodling, outlining, highlighting, and Zentangling. You truly just can't get any better than these.And the price? Ahhhh I usually buy 3 pens at a time...and the total is the same amount as what I spent on these TWELVE. To be honest, I thought the pricing must be a mistake - and I was expecting Amazon to correct the issue before sending the pens out. I thought I would either receive 2-4 pens, or they would charge my card a whole lot more. Turns out that neither happened - I got a full box of 12 pens, for not a penny more than advertised. I am still in shock!Bottom Line: If you want an excellent, top of the line, incredible white pen, look no further. You have just hit Pen Nirvana!

This pen was recommended by many scrapbooking bloggers like Amy Tan (of Amy Tangerine). The pen has a nice feel in my hands and I like the consistency of the ink. It's a pigment ink pen so it will take a few minutes to fully dry. I like to wipe the pen tip when I'm done so it doesn't get clogged. Before I write on my nice papers, I like to scribble a bit on scrap paper to make sure it's flowing nicely. As with all pens, you should store them horizontally. I find that it keeps the pen tips moist and not dried if you were to place them vertically in a pen holder.I will definitely buy these again. The price is comparable to what you would find at other online scrapbooking stores, probably less since shipping is included for $3.99 (bought this as part of the Add-on program).

This pen offers a pretty smooth and quick stroke. Additionally, the white ink offers a nice level of opacity for its price point. However, the ink runs out fairly quickly so it is advisable to purchase multiple if you plan on heavy usage. Another reason for which I gave this 4 out of 5 stars is its delivery time. It took almost a whole month to arrive, so prepare to order early. Overall 7/10 pen :)

I have the white gel pens that come in different ink widths. One has never worked, one writes sometimes and it’s hard to get the width, or amount of ink right. I read the reviews and decided to get this pen. Great decision! It has a consistent flow of ink. I can color things white and it shows. It’s comfortable to write with. I’m very happy with it!

I was a little hesitant as I read the review about only getting one. Nevertheless, I ordered and got twelve. They work very well at covering mistakes on sketches (though still need to do a bit of photoshop after scanning in). I also tested them out on colored paper stock and they work very well.At the same time I ordered this, I got two other brands of the same type of pen. This was by far the best. In fact one other pen (Pentel) was total dud--which might be bad luck, but still, quality control.Anyway--good white pen.Update: So, I ordered these again, to give to some friends and got just two. Wrote to seller, got refund and they said they were changing listing. Still even two for $9 (and no trip to the store) is a decent deal. Maybe there are better deals elsewhere, but the pen itself is still great.

This white ink pen will be used to write on darker colored items such as tape, folders, etc. It is very readable on these items.

Great gel pen. Nice and fluid, no skipping, perfect amount of ink flow. Dries pretty fast.

I ordered this pen because it was recommended by many people in my "art circle." I placed the order on Amazon partly because it was listed as a "pack of 12." It was a great deal and I know from experience that white pens don't last very long. I was pleased to be getting 12 of them so I'd have a supply for my upcoming art projects. I've contacted Amazon and this has yet to be resolved. I'm hoping it will be soon and that Amazon will stand by the listing. The pen itself is good! The problem is that the listing said a "pack of 12" but I received only one.
