El sonido o audio se escucha bien en ambos formatos. No he visto el material extra del DVD pero el concierto es entretenido.

From A long time I have been a big Fan of EvanescenceAfter awhile I got their cd's and I came across this item.So I bought it and was instantlly satisfied.In the begining you can watch the concert live in ParisAnd Amy's vocaly are hauntingly beautiful, and they leave you craving for more. She never ceases to amaze me with her talent on the piano and her vocals. After watching the concert, I watched the music videos, and then the best part... behind the scenes where you get to see Amy and her band who are actually pretty normal. They have fun and party and do stupid things like the rest of us. But of course on the side they have one of the best bands ever.I would reccomend this product to anyone who loves Evanescence and wants to know more about them. This definetly gives the inside scoop!I was lucky enough to actually go and see them live for their new album and is just as amazing.Evanescence rocks. Amy rocks.

I love the DVD that is in this package! I've watched it about 7 times. I also have seen Evanescense in concert and the DVD captures the style, energy, and performance techniques of Amy Lee and her group superbly. So if you can't see Evanscense in Concert, this DVD is a great substitute. HOWEVER, AMY LEE SINGS IN A LOWER/DEEPER TONE THAN USUAL IN SOME OF THE SONGS, ON THIS DVD, THAN WHAT SHE USES IN THE STUDIO RELEASE OF "FALLEN" AND OF WHAT I HEARD HER USE IN CONCERT. The included CD in the package is the sound track of the concert so Amy's voice is a lower, deeper tone than what she uses in the studio release of "Fallen" on some songs (particularly 'Going Under'). (NOTE: This DVD/CD was made before the release of "The Open Door" so you will not hear or see anything from "The Open Door"). I enjoy watching the DVD everytime I do, but Amy's voice is rather deep on some song tracks.

The CD is quite good and stands on its own without the DVD, although the mix is a little odd at times. The music videos and behind the scenes content on the DVD are great additions and well worth watching. The concert on the DVD, however is borderline unwatchable. No single cut lasts longer than 2 seconds, which means the viewer is constantly subjected to flashing back and forth between elements which may or may not have anything to do with what is happening on stage. It is as if the editor is a schizophrenic toddler on speed firing a video machine gun. Forget about watching Amy build a vocal or watching a guitar solo. All you will see is constant flashing of one visual element after another in rapid fire. It is an absolute assault on the senses. I lasted 2 songs before skipping track to track to see if things improved. Things did not. It's a real shame the editor ruined what was probably a fine concert. People with seizure disorders should definitely stay away.

I first bought "Fallen" and got saturated with their songs (after quite a number of times). Then got "Anywhere but Home", and the DVD-CD combo just blew me away. Hit hog heaven again!I feel these live versions are even better than those of "Fallen"; and, you got new songs as well. This is NOT like you bought the same album twice. Two more comments:- Yes, you can hear the public in the background (and foreground, mind you), but that is part of the magic of live concerts. The Beatles had same screaming when live, and nobody complained about it. C'mon, people!- "Missing" is actually the LAST track. The Jewel insert places it somewhere else as well, which is wrong. The CDDB Internet listing has the same error. I submitted corrections, but doubt they'll take it. Beware.Other than that, enjoy the fun and the goth!

Just a great musician that writes great songs

This DVD / CD does in fact capture Evanescence at a peak in their somewhat fractured career - yes, the video does jump around at times but I've seen far worse. Sound and video quality are excellent - which is not always the case with these packages. It was kinda cool seeing the multitude of different camera angles that otherwise, we'd never see. Add that to having the music videos and behind the scenes...only $9....Totally worth the $'s. They are back...but I think the world missed out on several years of what coulda shoulda woulda been from an incredibly talented singer and band.

I have only seen the concert footage twice, but what I love, and must have seen 50 times is the backstage footage. My god, is this band hilarious! This is a band that preforms sad and dark music, and it's hilarious to watch them be total goofballs backstage. Had I not seen this, I would have never guessed they were like that off stage. it makes them more human to me. I love amy's e hoodie and would love to get one myself.

Amazing Band, Amazing CD

Excellent exactly what I was looking for.

Me ha encantado el poder encontrar este tremendo directo,a la diferencia de otros buenos discos de Evanescence, pedidos a otros usuarios de Amazon,esta vez sí qué me llegó la versión de lujo con el DVD,mi discografía estaría completamente incompleta sin tener Anywhere but home.
