Mayerzon Dog Muzzle, Breathable Basket Muzzles for Small, Medium, Large and X-Large Dogs, Stop Biting, Barking and Chewing (XS - Border Terrier)

This is a safe and comfortable muzzle and that is most important! Very strong, but still flexible as to not be stiff and hard like wire ones that if broken or bent could really hurt and disfigure your dog!! No thank you!! And, for two, young adult, dogs who had never been muzzled before, coaxing them with treats was very simple. There was no sound so if a biscuit was bumping against the side of the muzzle, the dog wasn’t hearing anything as they did with a metal muzzle, and as they We’re learning, in the beginning if their nose was in the muzzle, all the way, they seem to be more comfortable with me and it took less time for me to be able to Close the buckles and secure it. As they were learning, once they realized it was on there they would panic a little bit, but I wasn’t worried about it because it wasn’t going to hurt them. It was definitely not an easy process, but this muzzle made it a lot easier

I ordered a large for my golden retriever. Definitely too big. It does not help detour chewing. She still manages to get huge chunks of dirt through the bottom. I wouldn't trust this if you care purchasing to prevent a bite. My dog can easily remove it.

I give the muzzle 3 star because the muzzle itself is nicely made and soft. It fit my very large Anatolian shepherd male. However the straps even when tightened could not stand up to him. It was off his head in a matter of 10 seconds, no joke. I am sure the smaller muzzles work fine with the straps but a dog that big needs it attached to the collar I think. Had it stayed on I would have given this muzzle a full 5 stars. We are going to try to use it in combination with a dog collar in the future because I love the way it fits.

Bought this muzzle because the ones in the pet stores are fully closed on the ends and this one will allow her to still drink water. She will be wearing it a lot because we now also have a 1 year old female and the two have started fighting to be the Alpha girl. We like the construction and the features all at a good price. However even measuring the size we bought it is one size too large, but they have a great exchange policy. We did follow the recommendations for our Minature American Shepard, but it is a little tall by her eyes and generally loose around her muzzle. If we were to suggest anything it would be using a larger buckle so our fingers can unsnap it easier

Got this b/c my dog ate a tennis ball at the dog park and the surgery was painful, scary, and expensive. The muzzle was intended to let him play at the dog park without eating trash. Unfortunately, it does not appear this company has a muzzle right-sized for my dog. The company says they'll ship you a free one right away if the one you get doesn't fit. But I measured carefully, and it looks like no size would really fit my half-lab, half-golden retriever dog if the one shipped does not (which it doesn't). The webbing that goes around back of the head does not adjust downward enough, which means it's not snug and my dog easily escapes; and the ones that fit his head would have a too-small basket for his nose.

Finally, a muzzle that fits my dog! He has a small head and a long snout… This is the first muzzle that fits that he can open his mouth to pant in the summer and even drink.

WE HAVE A SHEPHERD. I BOUGHT AN XL TO GIVE HIM ROOM. IT DIDN'T FIT HIS NOSE AT ALL, AND THE MIDDLE STRAP CAME OFF, OR MOVED OVER HIS EYE. I WORKED TO WRAP THE MUZZLE STRAPS ALL AROUND THE COLLAR AND ANYTHING I COULD TO KEEP IT ON HIM. WASN'T WORTH THE MONEY OR THE STRESS TO THE DOG.

Hola!!! I have my very dear friend H who is know 11 years old... He is a great dog but lately he's been a little aggressive toward other male dogs.. That's why I decided to find the best quality and confort muzzle for him. That's what I did when i find this fine looking basket dog muzzle from Mayerzon. This product is the answer for all of my desires. The basket muzzle restraint my dog to prevent any biting, chewing and barking and the best part is that allows my dog panting, drinking and feeding and is very confortable and secure. And one more thing, he looks badass with it so is a perfect match. At firts I had problems with the sizing but the free replacement program that they have is awesome and their costumer support it's on point. I recommend this product 100% and you won't regret it. Muzzle that arrived had a centre head strap, not like as advertised. So basically, what you receive is not what you thought you bought.

So far the dog likes the muzzle because she believes it to be a treat-dispensing device. It's really taking the pressure off me when walking her and knowing she can't grab the neighbourhood cats and smaller dogs. Whew! A load off my mind while we get her behaviour sorted out. If you're wondering whether it's a bad idea to get one, don't be stressed about it - you can always tell people your dog wears it so they won't eat poop, or grab baby bunnies in the spring. And it takes a lot of the pressure off when training a nervous/aggressive/reactive dog if you know they can't go off and get into the sort of trouble that could result in them having to be put down. All dogs are redeemable, it just takes time. The mask is sturdy, but also light and flexible, and the company is great - they sent me a smaller size when I ordered one too large, and they've got helpful tips they send with the mask so that I can set up a great relationship with the dog and muzzle right from the start. I recommend 100%.

Fits well. The vet is very happy due to our rather large dogs anxiety when visiting the surgery
