A Common Language for Electrical Engineering: Lone Pine Writings

An Absolute Necessity in Understanding the Propagation of Electricity
Firstly; I'd like to state that this book is a compilation of a LIFE TIMES WORTH OF RESEARCH of Hundreds of pages of electrical engineering and or mathematics, by Most, if not all, of the giants whose shoulders we stand upon. Also, the author does a Wonderful job of explaining the history and conception of the ideas presented, how they may have changed or have been perverted for the worse, as well as referencing scholastic papers, presentations and books written by the frontiersmen who discovered them.Secondly, I'd like to say that it's my opinion that if you are planning to study Physics, or Electrical Engineering, even just natural science and have a mathematical mind, that this book is an absolute MUST BUY. The author takes time to write both the english vernacular And mathematical equations In Standardized Units(!!!) of all of the equations that he represents, which can be a little tricky if in school you simply learned equations off of a whiteboard. He does an excellent job of providing analogies explaining all of the concepts, and how they are Popularly misconceived, versus their actual nature of propagation or existence.Thirdly, I've read this book twice, once specifically to take notes of all of the equations, terminology, and relationships, and then once to grasp not only the concepts presented within the book, but others that I'm researching towards.Consequently; this may very well be the best $25 you spend all year long. The wealth of knowledge and perspective I've gained from reading this has saved me countless hours of frustration wondering the nature of electricity. Eric Dollard also has Many lectures posted to YouTube and his site; in which he expands on some of the ideas presented here. IF you do plan to purchase this book, I'd recommend watching his videos titled "History and Theory of Electricity" as well as "Origin of Energy Synthesis" to further supplement and ease your understanding of the knowledge presented within this holy book of electrical propagation.

He's a genius who is technically sound
Learn the units for electricity and their direct relationship to energy and power. He dismantled the physics quackery with easy to understand examples and simple algebraic equations. I challenge you to find a mistake in his reasoning, he's a legend.

Demystifying the aether
Solid material. Though written in the fashion that he speaks (which can at times be difficult if you've never heard the man speak), the simplicity of the concepts involved allow themselves to be easily comprehended by anyone with a predilection for electrical science or electrical work. I leave 4 stars only due to the quality of the binding; it was printed in the Amazon facility and is lacking in structural integrity. Eric Dollard is diamond among the rough of mathematical sycophantic pedants which (unfortunately) comprise the frightening majority of electrical engineers today.

Solid Science
The terminology and symbols may seem somewhat foreign or even alien at first, but this is 100% real science. This will help to solidify your EE foundation with accurate, historical concepts from Heaviside, Steinmetz and JJ Thomson among others. Dollard has simply organized their findings into a language for the modern man.

An amazing book for anyone new to the physics on electrical ...
An amazing book for anyone new to the physics on electrical phenomena, and an amazing book for anyone who has had a formal education in physics. This book has taught me the foundation that i will need for my future endeavors. Will be buying his other works and already downloaded all of the reference books he has mentioned in the book such ass work from JJ thompon, Oliver Heaviside, Charles Proteus Steinmetz, faraday etc

Insight is key
He gave great insight in the trivial to complex things of electricity, from giving the four dimensions of basic electricity to the telegraph equation and more!

Not even good sci-fi
Eric Dollard invented his own physical laws and wrote a book about them, for example he talks about a unit of measure for electrical energy called "The Planck", in no place on the internet (or book for that matter) could I find references to this unit of measurment, there is the Planck charge but thats not what Eric Dollard refers to. Stuff like that is what you can expect while reading this book, also when the author wants to introduce an equation, instead of simply writting the equation, he describes the equation with words, so instead of writting I=V/R he will say the intensity equals the voltage divided by the resistance, with short equations its easy, but with longer equations is just painful to understand. Do yourself a favor and get a good trusty book if you want to learn electrical engineering, Im convinced that this book is harmful to read, it can completely twist your understanding of electricity.

About time!
About time someone took this much needed task to hand. Well done Mr Dollard! /dw
