One Pedal to Rule them all!
The Boss LS-2 is the Swiss Army knife of stompboxes, and I mean that in the most “one pedal to rule them all” way possible. Plug it in, and suddenly your modest little pedalboard is Mordor’s command center, bending two channels of signal to your will. If Tolkien were a gigging guitarist, he’d have slipped the LS-2 on Frodo’s board instead of the Ring. The magic is this: with a single stomp, you can split, switch, blend, or balance two entire chains of pedals. It’s the “two girls, one cup” of pedals, except here it’s “two channels, one pedalboard”and the outcome is far less horrifying. You can run a clean chain and a dirty chain, toggle between them, or blend them together into glorious chaos great for Geddy Lee bass tone. You can also use it as a level booster, a parallel effects mixer, or even a makeshift A/B box. Every time you think you’ve maxed it out, it reveals another trick. The best part is how unassuming it looks. Just a plain Boss enclosure with a couple of knobs and switches, yet it solves a pile of problems guitarists have wrestled with forever. Switching setups mid-song? No problem. Balancing pedal levels without digging into menus? Done. Creating dual personalities on a single board? Effortless. It’s one of those “where have you been all my life?” pedals. I wish I’d known about it sooner too; it would have saved me years of Frankenstein wiring and unnecessary gear. For players juggling different tones, styles, or rigs, the LS-2 is not just convenient, it’s mind-expanding. Like the Ring, it whispers promises of power, but unlike the Ring, it actually delivers.

FINALLY! ...And Lasership sucks
I know there are looper pedals, but I needed something extra. Morley has a decent line selector. Small but doesn't cut it. Voodoo lab makes an awesome one, but too big. Finally a came across this. I actually wasn't aware this existed. It's exactly what I was looking for. You can do so much, and it's a small pedal. Gotta love BOSS. As for packaging...Chicago Music Exchange did a great job. Even added some extra treats like stickers and picks. Kudos to them. I only have one complaint...I chose same day shipping. Lasership was used to deliver this. They suck big time. They labeled it as delivered left outside. Mind you they didn't, because you can't do that where I live. So they lied and it ended up coming the next day. All in all great pedal...Chicago Music Exchange are great...And stay away from Lasership. They suck.

This is THE Most Important Pedal in My RIG
Getting ready to put together a new board for a revived project of mine, and I needed a way to fire between my amp and a separate PA for modulated FX. This allows me to do exactly that with zero latency, lag, or issues. At all. This is better than a channel selector...it's a RIG selector. I love bouncing around between my death metal gain guitar tone on my amp, then right over to the house PA for a sample or some synth or an effect, etc. Absolutely get this for any switching needs, you can fire between 3 selected "rigs", whatever those are for you, effortlessly. 10/10.

This is not the SL-2 but it's still a great pedal
The LS-2 does all the things it says it does, and Boss has always made quality stuff. However, this is not the SL-2, which is another Boss pedal. The reason it's not the LS-2 is because the L and S have been reversed on this particular pedal, making it into a different pedal. I think the reason I ended up with LS-2 instead of the SL-2 is because letters can be sneaky. Similar to dating someone who says they're 29 on a dating app but then it turns out when you meet them, they're 92. We've all been there. I do have TWO new Boss pedals now, which is, dare I say, hella boss.

Boss line switcher..great alternative
Great pedal.very versatile.I run two separate chains with it,dirty and clean. You can switch between one or the other or run them both at the same time or have them both off with just your clean tone ru ning.I a lso like how you can adjust the output volumes of each individual channels.Great alternative to those big expensive switchers.

Foot switchable effects loop
Years ago, I had a Peavey Bandit 112, and it had a foot switchable effects loop. I thought it was quite handy. But... life happened, and I sold the amp. years later, I replaced it with a newer Bandit 112. I still like the amp, but now they just have a foot switchable boost. This is where this pedal comes in. I stumbled on this while researching some options, and it seemed to be the best route to take. It serves its purpose perfectly. I have the loop going through the input/output, and the effects going through the return/send. Setting on he right knob is Line A/Bypass. A little tweaking with the red and green knobs will be necessary to make sure your effects volume is the same as the bypassed volume.

Great for mixing tones and pedals
This is a great pedal to blend whatever pedal chains you want. I use to blend two distortion pedals to blend what I like. Maybe if a pedal sounds great for mids to highs and another sounds great for lower tones you can blend the two and great a overall better sound.

Get dirty or clean or dirt on dirt.
Great way to add two signal paths.

Sehr gute Qualität und keine Beeinflussung des Sounds. Ich hab es trotz zurückgeschickt weil es mit 2 meiner Pedale nicht zurecht kam. Dies liegt aber an meinen Pedalen und nicht am LS-2.

I own three of these LS-2's (installed on various pedalboards for my basses and guitars). They've been described as the "Swiss Army Knife" of switching / signal routing pedals, because their versatility allows a multiplicity of solutions to a whole variety of scenarios. In short, amid the deluge of Boss pedals we regularly see used by so many performers, the LS-2 rates as one of the most under-rated. Get one and experiment — you may be surprised at just what you can do with it.

I love this pedal. It's incredibly versatile and a great addition to any pedal board. I've used other line selectors with limited success. This pedal is quiet and easy to use. Made with the traditional Boss quality. Highly recommend
