Important observations:1) Good lighting options and light quality. Can set routines. Works reliably.2) No hub (like Philips hue hub/zigbee hub) required.3) Retains last state- If last state feature is on and Wiz Click feature is off. This also means if the lamp was turned off when power is lost/switched off, it will remain off when power is restored/switched on. The only way to turn this on is by giving command over WiFi. It is recommended that you have at least one non-smart lamp in each room/critical area.The lamp is not able to distinguish between power failure and normal switch-off. To solve this issue, it would be necessary to have a dedicated smart device to detect actual power failure(this would be permanently connected to power-cannot be switched-off). Upon power on, each smart lamp can then check with this device to distinguish between power failure and intentional switch-off. This additional task can also be performed by a smart lamp with suitable firmware and configuration feature. Request Philips and all smart device manufacturers to incorporate this feature in their system, to solve this important issue.

These are really great smart lights for your rooms. Google Home integration is also nice and once integrated, you can directly control it from google assistant, so there is no need of the dedicated Wiz App.P.S. : We got one of the bulbs defective, but thanks Amazon for replacing the product within a single day..that's really impressive!

It's a fine product that works well with a strong wifi signal. Plenty bright and pleasing, but not too bright colours as well. The light looks better installed in a wall/ceiling diffuser or within lamp shades.The big issue is that, apparently the bulbs ship with firmware version 1.17.1 which doesn't work with power outage recovery feature even if that is switched on in the app. Please ensure you update to latest firmware 1.22.0 for the feature to work, it also seems more stable on wifi with this update.The update is supposed to happen automatically upon first connection, but many a times it doesn't happen due to home router settings or firewall etc. I recommend putting the bulb on mobile hotspot and updating the firmware that way.Another thing to note is the Wiz click feature, it must be enabled and first option needs to be set to off within it. Then light won't turn on automatically after power returns post power cut.All works perfect after firmware update and setting up Power outage recovery and Wiz click feature.Best smart bulb in this price range, but firmware updation process needs to be made smoother and more reliable.

the best of this is i have installed 5 bulbs on a ceiling hanging lights and all changes colour at once when i ask alexa to make the lights red or green or any other colour
