KitchenAid KE006OHOBA Classic Nylon Ladle

Great.

It’s a ladle, so there’s not much to review. It scoops out liquids, right? But five stars for being a trusted brand and sturdy nylon. If you want something that won’t scratch your non-stick pots, you have lots of silicone choices but that material feels too sticky and rubbery — I prefer the feel of nylon that’s easy to clean and doesn’t have the friction you get with silicone surfaces.

Delivered on time. Laddle is much sturdier than most and so lightweight!

It's a real good soup ladle. The bowl part is pretty much at a °90 angle to the handle. If you're using it in a tall pot you may want to get one with a longer handle. I like the shape and the feel of the handle.

Had a really nice, deep ladle that I threw out because of the black plastic scare. Testing that said utensils made from black electronics pose a potential cancer scare due to flame retardants in the electronics. EPA lowered the toxic dose 100.000 nanograms and there is no health risk from minuscule amounts of decaBDE. So I pitched a safe, great size ladle and found out after, I didn't have to throw it out. This one is ok, but miss my larger one!

Works as intended - but I would have preferred the red in hindsight.

This is a terrific sturdy ladle that holds up to hot soups . I use this to scoop out big batches of stew made in an enamel coated cast iron Dutch Oven and so many other things. It cleans up easily in the sink and dries quickly. Its a great buy for you power-cooks!
