Okayyyy I managed to avoid having my bottom wisdom teeth pulled until 43 years old. Smart or incredibly stupid? I lean towards the latter. I survived, though, with the help of this ice pack. It absolutely did smell funky when I took it out of the package, so I threw it in a garment bag and popped it in the washer with my laundry then hung it to dry. A must for wisdom teeth recovery. Super easy to freeze, stays cold for a long time. Easy to put on, take off, and swap packs. My kids even napped while wearing. The best part is after the first 24hrs we switched to heat (20sec in the microwave) it helped with swelling and soreness. It must feel good b/c my daughter requested this (warm) for most of her recovery.

This item was perfect. My daughter was having her Wisdom teeth pulled and we were told she would need a cold compress for part of her recovery. I ordered this as it had the wrap around the head design, and swappable cooling packs. It made the first 3 days much easier, and helped to greatly reduce her pain and discomfort. Advantages: 1. Light weight and very comfortable to wear for extended periods. 2. Easy to take off and put on with minimal effort or discomfort. 3. Velcro closure for custom and accurate sizing. 4. Cold packs were hot swappable, long lasting (60 min or so) and refreeze quickly. It's also versatile as I used it for a cold compress on the top of my head when I had a bad headache and it helped. I'm not sure if that is a recommended use, but it worked.

Got this for my teenaged daughter for user after wisdom teeth extraction. Fit is perfect, Velcro strap is secure and it stays in place. She said it is very comfortable to wear - wrap material and gel packs are soft and provide good pain relief and has kept swelling down. Super helpful having the 4 gel packs, stays cold for about 30 minutes which is the recommended use time so no issues there.

This was definitely a lifesaver for us. My son got his wisdom teeth out and we had ice packs, but they just wouldn’t stay in place. So I saw these on Amazon and purchased them right away, they were perfect. Used this after having my wisdom teeth removed. This was a huge help during my healing process, and made life much more convenient. I will say, the ice packs are small and do thaw relatively quickly. Luckily the pack comes with 4 ice packs so you can rotate as they thaw.

The packs freeze just as it says, and the extra packs that come with are great for switching out if needing longer use. Only thing is that the product does go under the chin and to keep the packs on the face, you have to keep it tight, so any swelling in the neck/under the jaw can be uncomfortable. Great thing is the placement is up to the person - can be used across the forehead, on the temples, on a shoulder. Velcro holds well.
