It comes off very easily and is easy to rip by hand without a scissor.

i do not know if its enough. the length is listed on the description. as far as it being sticky? this is only for sports and when used with pre-wrap is holds fine..but your using it for a lyra hoop so i honestly cant tell you if its gonna hold on plastic.its meant for direct contact with skin and pre-wrap..
