Didn't work
I imply couldn't get the inline operations to work so returned the headphones. Too bad - I had high expectations!

A steal.
Balanced clear sound and the metal casing seems durable. Cable seems thin.At $44.50 sounds like a $100 very marketed earphone and maybe better.Bought them based on detailed internet reviews and I'm at the opposite of regreting it.Everyone should change their stock earphones with this, since they don't make your wallet bleed but pleases your ears if you're the kind that listens to music every day.Edit: I got a faulty unit (microphone did not work), but I got a replacement even when the conditions of getting them were not easy. Perfect customer support.

Design Has Changed from Original
I bought these when they were first released, at least 5 years ago. At the time, they were great. Heavy duty construction, lots of bass and clear highs. Somewhere in the process of moving I lost them.I saw these again during a the Black Friday sales and figured I liked them enough and ordered another pair. These aren't the same headphones at all. The travel case it comes with is totally different (original was solid black, this is black and red), the casing of the drivers is different (these are plastic, original was metal) and the sound of these is almost painful. The treble in these is so high and tinny. I rarely ever cut the treble on my EQ, but I had to lower multiple frequencies 4-6 dB to make it listenable. There is hardly any bass.I dont know why they would downgrade the product, other than to save money, but this new design is awful. Maybe it will get better after they burn in, but for now, I dont want them in my ears.

Great headphones
I'm not an audiophile, but the sound quality definitely beats stock headsets that came with an iPhone. They're also really comfortable (they come with various sizes of spongy adapters for the best fit). It also comes with a little container for storage.

Good Sound, Poor durability
Note: I bought these headphones on mp4nation.net and tried to post this review on their website. They wouldn't post it. It was put in review limbo, aka "Pending" status and this never changed. So this indicates you should take ALL reviews on mp4nation as biased. They won't post overly negative reviews, or at least they wouldn't post mine.I was happy with these earphones for about 7 months, but then some design flaws became issues that make them useless to me now. They sound pretty good, I like that they came with numerous (but very hard to change) sets of rubber or foam. The case is very nice, and I always wrapped them up carefully in it. I like that they have a build in mic for my smartphone. While the actual cord is nice, tangle resistant, and of generally good quality, the strain reliefs are the problem. I use these at the gym and at work. Not on a daily basis. I'd say 3 times a week on average. The strain relief on the 90 degree jack is not very resistant to strain. And one of the cutouts in the strain relief is cut at the worst place for the 90 deg. jack. It allows the cord to bend too much at the place most susceptible and in the most commonly strained direction. If the cutouts had been made on the sides strain relief, not the top and bottom, this wouldn't be a problem. Also, one of the strain reliefs that goes into the back of the earbuds is prone to falling out. It's not even glued in, just popped in. I was able to pop it back in, but it would come out almost every time I used them.Eventually the strain relief at the jack proved not strong enough for the light use I put these through, and the sound started to cut out. To make things worse with my smart phone, when the connection was broken, my phone would think they were unplugged, automatically pausing anything I was listening too. Over and over and over again, any time I move. I've put numerous layers of electrical tape there at the jack to help support it. This helps for a while, but eventually it gets bad again.I filed a warranty claim, sent in pictures of the faulty wire, but since I have to foot the bill for insured, tracked shipping to Hong Kong in order to pursue this, I won't be. And I won't buy these or any headphones from a distant country again for this reason.I really loved these headphones when I first got them, but they just aren't built well enough... I've had Sony's that cost the same amount that lasted for years, through the rain, through sweat, even when they looked like they were falling apart--they still worked. Not these Brainwavz. They still look like new except at the strain reliefs, but they don't work. And I haven't been hard on this pair at all. So I'm going back to Sony, whose products have always lasted me longer than I could ever expect.

Really great earphones.
Let me start off that these are awesome earphones for the price and are really quite durable. But after about a month my left earbud just stopped working. After talking to their customer service for awhile they're going to replace them absolutely free. I am excited to get to use these again because I had just begun to use these everywhere. I do recommend this product and if anything is wrong with them do talk to their customer service.

Loose driver, Poor Accessories, Poor Sound
These earbuds arrived with a loose driver on the right earcup, meaning the driver was hanging from the housing via little wires. This is something easily fixable with a dab of super glue, but when I gave these earbuds a test I was disappointed further. The main cable feels fine, but it split on its way to the drivers aand becomes thinand cheap feeling. The included eartips are silicone, and very thin. There was one additional pair of foam eartips, that were not responsive (I'd say that they aren't memory foam but they are likely jutst the cheapest kind), and too small to plug my ear completely. Most importantly, the highs through these earbuds are scratchy and hollow sounding. The bass is a bit weak, but the mids are fine. At this price point there are plenty of options that do much, much better. The carrying case is fine, but the pull tab on the zipper came off while I was repackaging to send back to them. This is my first brainwavz purchase, and I'm shocked with how uncompetitive these are at this price point.

Great sound, nice price!!
PROS:Nice fitting. They don't fall off my ears easily. As a result there is also good sound isolation.Very good sound!! A bit bassy but otherly nice balanced. They come with a nice case and quite a few eartips for best fitting.Microphone and remote button to use as handsfree with iPhone.Best value for money.CONS:Remote button a bit problematic. Sometimes works, sometimes not. I've read lot of users had this problem.Gets tangled easily. Cheap cord material is responsible but it's quite thick and looks durable. This material is also responsible for microphonics. But at that cost all those disadvantages don't matter to me. I would buy one more pair for everyday use.
