These are amazing. Have bought 3 now, in multiple homes, multiple sizes. Qualirty made, no batteries, and just as quick to open as anything else.

Purchased Quick Vault Xl after long amount of research and this product is everything I wanted. The size is perfect for my location and I really like the mechanical lock. Lots of combination choices and no battery issues. Well built and is an USA company. I highly recommend this company and their products. I have family members who will be purchasing in future. I contacted customer relations during my research and Michele responded very quickly and provided lots of helpful information. This thing is rock solid and the simplex lock is a proven design that fulfilled my need to have something quick to open without needing a key, but also complex enough to deter someone trying to crack the code. (Yes, a determined enough person could break in given enough time, but that's true of any safe in this price range. You don't buy this kind of safe for impenetrable security.) Overall build quality is high and installation was reasonably straightforward - it fit snugly between the studs. The shelves were annoyingly difficult to install, however: the screw holes aren't easy to find behind the felt that's glued on to the inside of the safe and the sheet metal screws are tricky to get set correctly. Once that's done, though, you're home free. Lastly, I would've preferred a simplex-style lock with more buttons (and therefore more possible combinations), but I'm not going to fault V-Line on that. If you're reading this, guys, maybe consider that for the next model!

I previously had a digital wall safe that used a fingerprint to open and I had some concerns with it. So, I replaced it with this unit and needed to increase the size of the opening in the wall. Install was straight forward. I only had some minor issues with installing the interior shelves since you need to pull the padding inside to find the holes for the screws. Changing the code was easy and I'm really happy with it. I like that it doesn't rely on batteries.

Arrived broken on 2 corners. Packaging was inadequate. I didn't have time for this so I bent it back myself and I plan on painting away the cracks at a later date. Too bad that packaging has to ruin such an otherwise nice product.

The measurements are not for the overall unit with trim. Rather it is the inside box that they provide measurements for. This was going in a custom made cabinet that would hide the wall safe and unfortunately we sat on this waiting for the build and exceeded the return time but it is too big for the cabinet despite getting confirmation from the company that this would fit.

Great product. The only caveat is, if you live in an older home where 2 x 4's are acutally 2" by 4", fit is a a bit more difficult between the studs. You'll need to shave the stud a bit so the vault can slide between.
