Cheap and cheerful, does the job. Press the button to switch on and then sweep over the pet until you hear a beep. Easy. Allowed me to read the chips on a few cats that visit my garden on a regular basis. Bare in mind that this is just a scanner and you would need to contact a vet, rescue or chip company if you have found a stray (they are unlikely to be able to give you any info due to GDPR). In the UK though, sites like check a chip will be able to tell you which company a chip is registered to. It's hidden away in the manual but to download chip data from the reader to a computer you need to first make sure the reader is off. Open a word, excel or text editor and make sure you've selected and can see the cursor in the document. Plug the reader in with the USB cable and once you hear the computer recognise it's connected, hold the readers power button down for 3 seconds. You should see all the data appear in your highlighted document.

Al principio no lo tenía muy claro. Trabajo con el dispositivo a diario. Es preciso y fácil de manejar.

Funktioniert einwandfrei und liesst schnell den Chip aus! Würde ich wieder kaifen, besonders zu dem günstigen Preis. Das Display ist allerdings sehr winzig, evtl für ein paar Personen schwierig und es piept kurz, leise. Also für ganz ängstliche Hunde evtl was anderes nehmen.
