Silvalume 12193.001 Crochet Hook Set

These are my favorite crochet hooks! I love the smoothness of the silvalume home, and they don't snag on my yarn. I prefer the inline hook, as it catches my yarn better. I probably have a million of these hooks in my house! Haha. These were purchased as a gift for a fellow crocheter that I hopefully converted!

Exactly what I was looking for, and a decent price too. Susan Bates are the only crochet hooks I like to use. I would buy these again if I ever needed more.

I ♡ Susan Bates Silvalume crochet hooks! They feel better on my fingers & don't make them perspire! The BEST part is they don't split my yarn! I've tried other brands to see if I can change and I cannot! I won't change. I LOVE THE DESIGN!!! ♡♡♡♡♡♡

Great hooks! Very smooth. Great craftmanship. Just different feel if you are used to plastic hooks. Never have to worry about them breaking in the middle of a project.

I first started out using the boye crochet hooks, those were the first pair I came across before even knowing about bates hooks were. I prefer these hooks over the boye because they glide in and out yarn more smoother, without snagging the yarn and splitting it in two. When I have create tighter rows I don’t have to force my bates hook through the hole, and the reduced the pain in my hands, I don’t have to keep stopping to rest my hands.

I love the steel crochet hooks better than any hook ever. And Susan Bates are strictly the best. I have bought and tried many other crochet hooks but, keep going back to the Susan Bates. They really feel comfort and natural in my hand, easy to hold, I even crochet faster with them...I think. I love the flat round tops. They don't catch as much as other hooks. And the price is right. I will buy again and again. Saving up to get more for crochet gifts with a few friends. I may gift to a couple of family members as well...none crochet or knit. Lol.

Dopo averli provati, ho acquistato anche la serie dei più piccoli. Mai più senza. Leggeri e scorrevoli con ogni filato. Sicuramente gli uncinetti migliori per chi usa l'impugnatura "a penna". Non occorre spendere di più per prendere degli uncinetti cosiddetti "ergonomici" che risultano solo più ingombranti. Questi sono perfetti in tutto.

Love these inline hooks far more than the tapered ones! It takes some getting used to though, but I love them!

Ik houd ervan om insteek haakwerken te haken , daarvoor had ik al de houten symfonie haaknaald aangeschaft vanwege de mooie punt, zie foto. Maar bij sommige garens glijdt dat niet echt goed over de naald. Deze metallic haaknaalden zijn al veel beter qua punt en ze glijden geweldig door het garen heen maar persoonlijk mis ik toch metalen/aluminium haaknaalden met nog spitsere punten zoals de houten haaknaalden van symfonie. Voor standaard haakwerk zijn deze echter ook geweldig fijn, ze houden de draad goed vast, het haken gaat supersnel en zonder haperingen.

This is the first time I have used inline crochet hooks - and what a difference! I was having difficulty using a chunky, fluffy yarn, so ordered these. My work is now excellent. I would recommend these hooks to anybody having difficulty.
