I’ve been really pleased with this purchase of dried grains and rice. The quality is excellent—clean, fresh, and cooks up perfectly every time. One small downside is the packaging—it’s not resealable, so I had to transfer it to a storage container. But overall, the value is solid for the price. I buy this rice on here because it's cheaper than the grocery store here. Small town texas with one grocery store and lousy over priced products. This is great tasting and quick cooking. Several food items i get from Amazon. Super convenient!

If you've only had 5 minute rice and never enjoyed good cooked rice, you should try Mahatma. This is an established brand that provides high quality rice with a rich flavor. My mother uses it, I use it, and my daughter uses it. Once you taste it, you'll use it too.

It says extra long grain white rice, in reality it's more like medium with broken bits included. I mean, the price was good and I bought two bags but later on I bought some jasmine rice and the difference is obvious when placed side by side. The jasmine has longer grains and is plumper, while this rice looks like bits and bobs of the bottom of the barrel. The flavor is OK, it cooks up just fine whether you pre soak it or not. It's just not extra long grain as advertised, I've had this issue with several brands in the past with both white or brown versions. It won't be wasted, I can process it in the blender for rice flour to use in baking or making tofu.

I bought six of these and they all came, it taste really good, it’s a low price, and I’ve been using this type for a while.
