It went together pretty quickly with my husband and I working together, a bit less than an hour and we were super sick at the time. I noticed a lot of reviews saying that the plastic pieces broke during assembly, we didn't have that problem at all- just be sure to line them up and be careful 'cause they will pinch you. Lol I learned the hard way. The tool required for assembly (which it came with, in our case) is a standard 4mm (5/32") Alan head, easily purchased from most stores that sell even a small array of tools. We did receive the extra parts in ours, however they weren't needed at least not as of yet. It really opened up our littles bedroom! The only down sides in my opinion are: 1.) the weight limits for the top bunk, it makes it tricky to make the top bed if I don't have the top bunk kiddo do it since there's weight to the mattress and I don't want to risk it trying to climb up there. 2.) It doesn't separate into two separate beds. Honestly though, we knew that before ordering and the benefits out weigh the flaws. It arrived way quicker than expected, which was awesome but it became an exceedingly early Christmas gift because of this. It's sturdy considering price, we might use furniture straps to affix it to the wall to prevent any accidents (because I'm paranoid, mostly) but it doesn't tip or anything and it's not creaky or rickety or noisy by any means. We have a very small place so the short stature of the top bunk is really ideal and I can see up there easily. I'm kinda short so that's a big plus! The pictures are of the appropriate tool/s needed (we had an easier to handle Alan head and we both went to work on it), the spare parts, and finally the finished product.

I am so impressed. Very easy to assemble. I got it done by myself in less than 2 hours. Sturdy. Great for my kiddos.

Very happy to have found this petite bunkbed option for my visiting grandkids, who are all under 12. Needed a smaller footprint due to space (changing up my bedroom office so the beds needed fit with my L-shaped desk in same room). Was pleasantly surprised at how easy to follow the directions were, and I was able to assemble the beds myself at 60+. Having said that, I had to use a "prop" when assembling the sides - the metal frame is heavy and I had no one to hold up the other end when inserting the screws on the first end, so propped up the end of the sides on the other end until I could get screws installed in all four corners. Once past that, the rest was just step by step, a bit tedious because there are many small parts, but again, all was clearly marked, so just read through once, then take you time. Be sure to position the poles, sides and rails exactly as shown in the instructions, or you will get it wrong (happened to me). Once I learned to check carefully as I went, all went smoothly. Another plus is that extra parts are supplied (I ended up needing one). Other reviews comment on the small size, but for my needs, this was perfect, and the shorter height will easily accommodate us tucking them in at night (for older kids I would probably recommend larger, taller bunk beds). Showed the grandkids a picture and they are now very excited and will have to flip a coin for who goes on top first!

There were delivery delays and inconsistent tracking through UPS. However, when the product arrived, it was easy to assemble. The bed is very sturdy and works great. It was lower than I expected but with some adjustments everything worked out.

is that there are a ton of little plastic pieces. But they function as supposed to. I broke 2 or three on the install but they gave extra pieces.So basically I have 3 small children and a husband who works and I put this together easily by myself no problem. The assembly is easy. Slats are time consuming but not difficult. Very grearful they gave the extra parts! I bout this one at a discount "used" with damaged packaging for a good price and was weary of getting all the parts. But it is perfect. the job. I love the low profile I can put kids in bed easy if they passport elsewhere.I did buy two 6 inches mattresses by zines. The green tea memory foam ones and also recommend those! I was unsure about them fitting they are perfect. I will also add a extra bed rail to bottom bunk because that's for a 2 year old. Just incase but if she did fall it wouldn't hurt just inconvenience.Also the top rails are very good as far as depth and keeping top child on bed.In the end I am so so very very happy with this bed. I looked for weeks and am not disappointed at all.

Took vary little time to assemble and rather simple believe it or not. Took the hubby and I about 40 minutes from box to mattresses and bedding. Im 5'4 and the top bunk is at my chest. Perfect height for my short self to be able to make the top bunk with no issues at all.lol. My girls 4 and 5 LOVE it!! It's just the right size for them. Not to high up and the bottom is nice and low. Cleared up so much space in their room to able to play and put all their toys in their own room now! Haha. If you're looking for a good sturdy, quality space saving toddler bunk bed this is absolutely the way to go especially for the price!!! After searching for literally almost a year im vary happy and plrased this is what we went with!

I ordered the bunk bed from the Amazon Warehouse, so I was a little worried about how it would come. I worried for no reason because I am in love with this bunk bed. My boys are 5 and 6, they needed a bunk bed that was spacious enough for them to have a good night sleep, but also not so big and bulky because they have a small room.PROS: it's easy to assemble (I set it up by myself) no squeaking, nice size and roomy for it to be a Jr. bunk bed, perfect for young children. Also greatt bunk bed if you have a small room.CONS: it does sit a little low to the ground then I wanted, but still high enough to slide toys underneath.
