Is the tote machine washable?

I haven't tried and I wouldn't. It doesn't look or feel like something I'd want to throw in a washer.

Does this also hold cricut tools?

It can. There is a large pocket along the back that I store mine. If you’re looking for them to fit inside the main compartment you might be able to hold a few, but there’s not much room.
