Farberware 80183 Glide Pro Hard Anodized Ceramic Nonstick Cookware Pots and Pans Set, 11 Piece, Gray

Don't be deceived by the fact that two of the top three reviews are one star, since those seem to be situations that are out of the norm. I live in Alaska, meaning "prime" really doesn't mean anything up here, so shipping took forever (about a week and a half). When it finally did get here though I was very happy with the quality. I was apprehensive to order these since all of the cheapest cookware sets on Amazon have some reviews saying they're terrible quality, arrived damaged, or were too small to even be functional. None of these were the case with this cookware set though! Despite it being shipped across a continent, all of the lids and pots arrived in perfect condition with no dings or scratches, and the lids fit perfectly on their respective pots and pans. I've had more expensive cookware sets that didn't include a skillet, cookie sheet, or any hand tools and those sets were barely better- if at all- than this one. My only complaint is that the cookie sheet is too small to actually make more than 6-8 cookies at a time, but that's not much of an issue since I need to get a bakeware set separately anyway so now I will just have two cookie sheets in different sizes! Yes the one quart pot isn't very large, but it is standard size for any cookware set you'll find and not nearly as useless as those "one egg wonder" pans that this set mercifully omitted. All of the pieces are standard size and large enough to be functional, even the mini cookie sheet, so I think the reviews saying they are too small are mostly people who are unfamiliar with standard cookware sizes. Also for those of you wondering, the pans have angled sides (for sautéing) and not straight sides. All in all a great set for the price and I would highly recommend!

I waited 2 months to review so that i could see how these wash and hold up to cooking. Firstly, they are beautiful...the copper ceramic coating is a gorgeous color - they look exactly as pictured. In use, nothing in the world sticks to these pans and they distribute heat evenly so no complaints on the performance. In reading the reviews, I've been careful to use only wood utensils with these so as to not scratch the coating and I hand wash them which is easy to do because well, nothing sticks to these pans. They are easy to clean and after 2+ months of heavy use, they look exactly like they did fresh out of the box. I'm old so i've owned A LOT of pans and these hold up beautifully when correctly cared for. I'm so glad i purchased them.

The pots and pans seem very nice. The one problem is the cookie sheet. It has a dent in the middle--from the back--that caused the coating to flake. There doesn't seem to be any reason in the packaging that this would happen. I tried to call Faberware, and I have emailed. I don't know if they will respond. Trying to reach them via phone was worthless.

Living in a small rural town, our vegan diets are typically not catered by most of our local restaurants, resulting in a lot of home cooking to fulfill our dietary needs. Not wanting to break the bank, we opted for this low cost, but relatively highly rated Farberware Set, and we cannot be more pleased. The quality really is impressive, typically you would imagine a, "you get what you pay for" type of quality, but Farberware really went above and beyond for their customers with this Cookware set! A few things to consider: The baking sheet is rather small for those of you who don't bother to look at the dimensions. The kitchen tools are what you would expect to find at a dollar store or it's equivalent, so expect these to have a short lifespan.

Farberware makes high quality products that last. They are well made, substantial and durable. This set replaces the Farberware set we got when we were married 50 years ago. Worth the investment.

Fair item for someone needing a full set of pots/pans for a good price - but they stain easily and the handles are NOT secure. Even after tightening them, they’d get loose again within a week. For what I needed them for, they were good, but I’d never buy them again.

These pans are so nice to cook with. While, not quite as sturdy as some older Farberware pans that I still have in use, I highly recommend this set. They are easy to clean and the handles don't get hot when you are cooking with them. Love the turquoise color too!

I was very pleased with this set. I've always had really cheap pots and pans because I've never wanted to spend the money on them. This isn't exactly the most expensive set but it was a pretty big chunk of change for me. I am really surprised and how awesome nonstick is. The food doesn't stick! (I'm not use to that!) Clean up is really easy and from what I can tell, it heats evenly. I don't know much about cookware but I looked at a lot before I decided on these. I would definitely 100% recommend!

The product arrived a week before its estimated arrival date. Thumbs up for that! Love the colour and cooking with this cookware is amazing. The non stick surface definitely helps and makes cooking enjoyable and more pleasurable again. Was definitely a best buy so far!

Después de usarlos un par de semanas puedo decir que son bastante cómodos y prácticos y tienen un tamaño razonable. Los sartenes son de muy alta calidad, al igual que todas las tapaderas. El recubrimiento de teflón es muy bueno, en el comal cuadrado he gratinado queso directamente y no se pega. Las ollas son un poco más delgadas de lo deseado pero mientras no se golpeen no tienen porque sufrir daños. La charola para galletas también es muy delgada, con el calor ésta se pandea. Los instrumentos que vienen de regalo se pueden deteriorar fácilmente si los dejas cerca del calor, pero en sí es una batería excelente por el precio.

Me encantaron, no se le pega nada y ni pesan. Mucho mejor que muchas otras marcas.
