Wild Symphony Hardcover – Picture Book, September 1, 2020

I stumbled upon this book while looking at Dan Brown's (DaVinci Code, Angels and Demons, Inferno etc.) upcoming book. This is an incredible interactive children's book that both kids and adults will fall in love with. The book also has a free downloadable app that works with the pages of the book to play beautiful symphony music created by Dan Brown. The illustrations are whimsical and combined with the music just makes this book a real treasure.

Thank you Dan Brown for this incredible work of art on so many levels! From the hidden anagrams to the poetry and addicting music composed to go along with it, this entire work is a true gift. This book has been a deep source of enjoyment and we have used it in so many fun ways. It inspired us to paint our own wild symphony to keep at home and we went and saw our local symphony perform the music live. Have not come across a kid who has not enjoyed this. I highly recommend this for children and adults of all ages. This is a wonderful education in positivity, music, poetry and artwork. Love!

This is a beautiful book and a cute concept. Being a senior it took me a minute to get the hang of installing the app that goes with this book for the music and then how to hover my phone over the page to get the music to start to play. But even for a non-tech person like me it was 5 minutes tops and I was listening to all the beautiful music. Very good concept to interest toddlers in symphonies. The illustrations are very good, zany and happy animals, bright colors, interesting to children. Well worth the price for a gift for my grandson.

Incredibly illustrated with gorgeous color pictures AND with sound! A QR code enables an app on your phone, and from then on, whenever you swipe your phone over a page, the corresponding orchestral music plays. And it's terrific music, along the lines of A Young Persons Guide to the Orchestra, but less stuffy, more memorable, and more timely. The text is in clever rhymes, that my grandchildren now repeat along as I read it, since the rhymes make it easy to memorize. And to top it all off, it was written by Da Vinci Code author Dan Brown, so the pages are filled with codes and secrets, that are fun for children and adults alike to solve. This should be a must gift this holiday season, for anyone with children to buy for. Can't recommend it more highly - delightfully surprised!

Dan Brown has created a unique book that presents his poetry and music so that a reader may interact by linking to the specific music while reading the descriptive poem. This book's presentation is an interesting , entertaining and overall, a most enjoyable creation. A great gift .

If you have young kids and want them to fall in love with reading and music, you have to buy this book. I bought it a few weeks ago for a friend who has 2 kids, ages 4 and 6. The 4 year old is just getting into reading but her brother has never shown much interest — he just wants to play on a cell phone/ipad and thinks books are boring. So I figured it would mostly be a present for the 4 year old.Anyway, my friend called me yesterday, practically in tears, to thank me because even her son has been reading the book every day. She said he LOVES that he can use her phone’s AR feature to make different songs play depending on what page they flip to. He has the whole thing memorized and is asking if there are other books like it. She’s just amazed because she had been worried that he would never be much of a reader. And she’s glad that she doesn’t have to listen to annoying clown music (as she called it) that’s usually geared to kids but beautiful symphony music that she also enjoys.My kids (who love to read) are teens and too old for it, but this will be my go-to gift for friends and family with young kids.

This is fantastic, introducing children to a bit of poetry, musical instruments and classical music. I would have enjoyed giving it 5 stars but the camera syncing with the pages doesn’t work smoothly. It jumps to the wrong song/page or repeats.

I've bought this as a gift for multiple friends who have young children. It's great as a stand alone hard copy book, but there are QR codes that allow for an additional layer of interaction. Great way to teach kids about classical instruments!
