Well Made and Work as Intended
I purchased these for my 2010 F150. I have had issues with the 4WD for two years now with it becoming totally inoperable last year. I did some testing and determined it was likely the actuators. I was in the midst of changing out the struts and planned some additional testing of the actuators to confirm if they were indeed bad. While working on the the first strut I removed the old actuator to perform a vacuum bench test and it split in half while removing it - pretty much confirming it was bad. Being half way through the job I needed these quickly. I normally do not purchase my auto parts on Amazon but made an exception to get them overnight - which I did. I really don't know if they were both needed, but I decided to just do them both since the price was reasonable and I was changing out the struts anyway.Ends up they are well made. Maybe not OEM quality, but not cheaply made by any stretch. They come well packaged and pre-greased which is a good thing especially if you are not experienced enough to know how to pre-grease an actuator. It is pretty important. That said, one of the canned ratings is "are they easy to install?". That really has nothing to do with the actual actuator but more about your skill with auto repairs. It is not a job for a basic back yard mechanic. They do come with some extra bearing grease which is needed, so it can help prevent a less than perfect installation. Based on all that I have no concerns with recommending these actuators if a change is needed. Well made at a very fair price.Note: If you have not done a lot of auto repairs I suggest you check out some You Tube videos to see if you are up to the task. I recommend FordTechMakuloco. He does a good job showing how to replace these which will give you a good idea if it is within your capabilities.

Price and quality can’t beat it
This is a well built actuator and the seals are awesome. It also came with grease and new mounting bolts which was very nice . After installing them on both sides testing went flawlessly. I might add that these came to me earlier than expected which saved me an entire day keep up the good product thanks again.

Great!
It was easy to put on. It works. We tested it on a 4wd trail with a 4 rating.

Good product if you have time to send defective back and wait for a new one
Bought two of them. One was torn and created a vacuum leak, but the other works fine.

Does not work like an OEM
Don't buy!!! I have a 2012 f150 ecoboost. I changed both front cv axles so I thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and change wheel bearings and actuators while I was at it, just know that there was nothing wrong with the existing actuators just wanted to have all new parts since I was changing the cv axles. Soon after I installed them pulling out of my driveway I started hearing a grinding noise on the driver's side, took it apart again and nothing was wrong. So I changed all vacuum hoses thinking maybe I had an air leak but nothing. So I decided to go to ford and buy the OEM part. Changed both of them and miracusly the grinding noise was gone. So comparing both parts (OEM and amazon) I noticed the Amazon part had an actually taller aluminum wall at the axle side than the OEM. Waisted 2 full days trying to troubleshoot the issue which of course I couldn't go to work because of it. By the way OEM part it's $114. But I actually lost more money by missing work than the money I thought I was saving by buying these.

Poor quality control
Poor quality control. Ordered a set. One came PARTIALLY greased, the other had NO grease at all. No grease packets or anything in the box. The vacuum line on the partially greased one was also packed with grease... great... The construction between the two is also different. One of the splines is bare metal, the other is black paint. Not very happy and dont think i will be using these...
