Great device for pinpointing exact location
It works exactly as described. Setup is so simple my 5 year old grandson could install. If you're out on the trail you can pinpoint your location to within 10 feet. Ideal for search and rescue when mated with your 2 meter radio.

Works great hope I dont have to use it.
Easy to install. Its a little bulky but works good. Use it on hikes mostly just to have a ping location if I get in trouble.

Does not always get me the right bearing. My Samsung smart phone does a much better job.

The GPS module arrived packaged as expected with full instructions. Setup and configuration was easy. The reception from satellites is as expected. This product just works.

Works Great IN THE FIELD
Unit was easy to install. Worked great with the VX-8R first time out on the trails using APRS.Never lost satellite link, even indoors.

It does exactly what it is supposed to which is provide gps data for APRS and general use, though like most Yeasu stuff it is overpriced for what it is.
