Good price, but more dried out than I wanted. The recipe called for "plump" vanilla beans and these did not fit that description, so they were more difficult to slit open to scrape out. But they certainly smelled potent, and they seemed to do a decent job flavoring the panna cotta.

I feel like I got a lemon bag of beans. All of the reviews are amazing but what I got were hard and dry. Splitting them almost cost me a finger. I’ve bought from several other brands and had great luck so I assumed these would be great too. Wrong. Very disappointed.

I purchased two 50 packs of vanilla beans to try making my own vanilla extract for the first time. Out of the package the 100 beans weighed about 6.54oz. In package, the weights were slightly varied due to them being packaged by quantity vs by weight.Beans seemed to be of good quality. Many were plump and of good size. Some were smaller and dryer than others, but overall I’m very pleased with what I received and if all goes well I’ll be back next year for my next batch.
