Fixed my dryer

Just what was needed, just like original equipment

Literally popped into place and dryer door stayed locked shut!

Exactly the part I needed. I've had to replace this part twice on my dryer. Easy to replace and seems to be the same quality as the original part. I wish that they were more durable but that has more to do with the dryer design than this part. I only have two issues. One is that this time the clip was much too tight. When you closed the dryer it would not open again. I fixed it by just squeezing the male part of the latch with pliers to make it fit better. The second issue is that this is the second time I've replaced this part. It's as sturdy as the original but if the dryer door loosens up even a little bit it no longer lines up with the latch. If you close it without noticing it will break these cheap plastic latches. It seems like the replacement part should be a little beefier or a design that compensate for this problem.

These kept me from having to calling for repair. Easy to install and work great!

Okay, so this was a good buy, except the "male" (metal) piece wasn't completely cut.. damn, I wish I'd taken a picture, but I'll try my best to describe it.. okay, so the metal piece has "wings" that kind of hook into the back of the dryer door wall to ensure it doesn't get removed from the force of the pull when opening the door. Think of a grappling hook, or drywall anchor(toggle bolt type).. so I had to take apart my entire dryer to get access to the rear of the piece (inside the dryer door)to bend the metal into place so it wouldn't move. .. overall for 6 bucks it's a good deal, but I wish they would quality control the pieces.. all that was needed was an extra press of the metal cutter.
