BUTTERY RED AND BLUE, didnt get a purple though.
The red is the best one as far as boldness and sticking to everything. Cures in about 24 hours for it to be permanent. Black and white are good, the white is a bit softer so it's good for smooth surfaces. I would use the black on just about everything. The blue is SICK. I didn't get a purple though like in the picture...its blue. The yellow is light...I would use it on rusty or dark surface or even wood signs with dark backgrounds. The orange will be sick on blue or dark painted surfaces but it is literally about half as BOLD as the red and blue. Red, blue, and white are the stickiest and write the best. That's just my opinion though. SAKURA markers are better, but twice the price. So if your paying for it I would go with the Markal B Hobo all day. Also, as with ALL solid paint markers these are not instantly permanent, takes at least 24 hours. After a week it's pretty much there to stay other than sun damage.

Works great to fill engravings
I bought these because the numbers on the bottom of my golf clubs had faded. I used these paint sticks to fill in the engraving and they look like new again! I will still have to wait and see how they hold up once I get out and play but so far, they are holding up great and the application was easy!

Remove protective coating first!
These work really well! Smooth & marks well for my artwork, and there’s more to them than the Sakura solid paint markers (though I still like Sakura better for the quality). At first I thought they don’t work as I couldn’t get them to mark on anything. But thanks to another Amazon review, I learned these have a thin protective coating all around. You can take it off gently with a knife like peeling an apple, as the other reviewer suggested. But it can take awhile. I suggest using disposable gloves if you do it this way so you don’t get the paint all over your fingers. Afterwards I put the yellow sleeves back on with a little piece of tape. Time will tell for durability, but so far so good.

Great marker!
I have used Paintstik markers for my newborn pups for many years. They are safe to use and last a long time on the pup for identification. Love the Lavender color!

I like but they get really soft being in your pocket for awhile, and they don’t last real long because of soft
