The design is a bit limited, but It works perfectly.
Wanted one of these for ages and ages. Finally got around to picking one up and really pleased with the result. Pro's: Easy to put together, Easy to use. Does the job well and with ease and great for making highballs and whisky tumblers etc. . Cons: its a bit crude as far as deign goes and leaves a lot to the person using it whether or not the cut will work. Size of cut is limited, I wanted to make some tealight holders and napkin rings from small jalapeno jars, but there's no way. Rubbing down the cut with the emery paper is tedious and really doesn't do much at all. I put a fine sanding disk on my drill and rubbed down the burr. The buff was one in a couple of mins leaving a lovely smooth rim pretty much like a mass produced glass. My opinion, if you have wine bottles and want to make hi-ball and tumblers this is perfect. Also good for vases etc. My pics tell it all.

Great value for money and it works! Unlike some comments suggest!
I was sceptical because of the reviews, however I'm very impressed! I've got know experience with cutting glass of any kind at all and it seemed rather simple and straight forward. It's a little fiddly to set up due having to screw and unscrew parts of the device to get everything lined up correctly but other than that it seems rather fail proof. Once you set it up you're good to go! My partner and I ordered this as we wanted to recycle old wine bottles and such into functional glasses. I've only tried one bottle so far but it went well. My only suggestion to anyone trying this out is that before you decide where to cut the bottle try and put the bands on first and make sure they done pop off (I went quite high up towards the neck of the bottle for the first cut and we had to celotape the top most band down as it kept sliding up). Only thing that brings this down a star is the fiddlyness of setting it up - but it really isn't the end of the world. 4/5 would recommend to beginners!P.S you might want a more substantial pare of gloves since you have the potential to be dealing with broken glass and the ones that come in the box appear to be a little cheap.

No Oil Included
Arrived promptly, but unfotunately I can't use it until my glass cutter oil arrives. You get the cutter, and the oil dispenser, but no oil, which I've now ordered at a cost of £7.98. It's not a con, but if I did it again I'd buy another option, costing much the same, WITH the oil. A niggly little other point is that there is only very small screw that holds the cutting head on, so to change heads you have to take it out of head 1 and screw it into head 2, whch is a fiddly job, fraught with the danger of it dropping to your workshop floor, and, if it's anything like mine, oblivion.

10/10
10/10. You need to buy oil separately but the cutter is well made and does the job.

Struggled to Cut Even Thin Glass
I bought this glass cutter hoping it would help with a few DIY projects involving mirrors and glass panels. Sadly, it did not live up to expectations. Even on thinner pieces of glass, it struggled to score clean lines. I applied steady, even pressure as recommended, but the cutter either slipped or produced very uneven scores, making the glass crack unpredictably when snapped. The built-in oil feed also seemed to be very inconsistent. Sometimes too much oil would come out, leaving a mess, and other times it barely released anything at all. The carbide tip dulled after just a few cuts, meaning I could not even finish a single small project without issues.Overall, it felt flimsy and awkward to use, much more like a cheap novelty tool than a proper glass cutter. I would not recommend this product if you want precision or reliability.
