I bought this Forensics gas sampling pump to use with my gas detector, and it’s been working really well so far. The stainless steel probe feels durable, and the pump itself is solidly built from tough ABS plastic. Been using this little yellow pump with my gas detector and it's decent. It pulls a consistent sample from a distance which is exactly what i needed for some tricky spots. The whole kit with the probe and tubing is convenient. Build feels a bit plasticky for the price, but it works as advertised and the USB charging is a definite plus. Overall, it gets the job done without too much hassle.

The readout appears to be completely accurate. It does sense even a small sample size. So, it seems to be of good quality.

This gas sampling pump was ordered originally thinking that it has the required metering unit included. Recognizing this now will require me to order the appropriate base O2/Ozone meter unit, or other Forensics applicable meters for specific needs. Being an EMRS (Electro-Magnetic Radiation Specialist), and a technician across many different fields, I have a unique collection of meters and detectors. I have been working with ozone (O3) and would like a way to detect it in various spaces. Forensics offers an ozon/ O3 meter that I will have to order once I can budget for it, as it is over a few hundred for that specific meter. As I do not have experience with this meter yet, I ‘m not sure how it will work in my desired application? It does seem to be the best option for my intended purpose. The package comes with the gas sampling pump, a foot long metal probe (that screws into the top/end of the pump), tubing to connect the pump output to the meter, and a USB charging cable. This pump is a great solution for being able to reach in specific spaces to sample a specific sample of air and pump it to the connected meter. As I know how much quality meters can cost, I’ll say that this pump and various meters that are available from Forensics are a great value. They appear to be well made meters, and this specific meter pump function extends the air/gas sampling capabilities of the meter it’s connected to. As I will be using ozone more in the future, I want a way to meter it in the locations it’s being used. Looking forward to receiving that meter and sampling/testing the locations ozone is being used.
