Fit my purpose perfectly!
Needed a place to store my Bourbon & Liquor collection. This is very sturdy and has a large capacity to handle the weight of my collection. It openly displays and holds various size bottles (fit my needs well). Goes well with room I placed it in. I would recommend. The instructions were easy as long as you read them completely before attempting to assemble. Well packaged and protected from damage, no issues when the packages arrived. Well worth it.

Perfect
The material is rather sturdy. However, the wood there's definitely not solid wood. Which, in a way I think, is a good thing, because this is quite heavy, as is. I was concerned that the shelvings would not be big enough for all of my cooking supplies. However I was pleasantly wrong. The shelves are big enough to hold my roasting oven, crockpot which are my two biggest items that take up the most real estate. It's nice that it came with everything you need to put it together, including screwdriver and ellen wrench's. I highly recommend following the instructions and not going willie nelly putting it together. Definitely.Put the two outer portions together first! I did not, I put this enterpiece together first. This made things a lot more complicated. They have other products and I have every intention of buying other pieces of furniture from them.

Easy to deal with!
Super easy to put together solo. I just built either side seperately, wiggled them roughly together, then secured the middle. If this had been an IKEA design, it'd have had dozens more parts.

Fantastic bookshelf! Highly recommended!
I love this bookshelf. I have a collection of music related coffee table books and this was perfect for showcasing them all, from the very tall to not so tall books. I found it was relatively straight forward to assemble and any issue I ran into was my fault and not that of the shelf or instructions. Would highly recommend it to anyone considering buying one.

Overall nice & sturdy, however it did come with a defect
This product looks great, overall. Putting it together wasn't particularly difficult. One of the support brackets had the holes for the shelf on the wrong side of the shelf support -- it was for the right side of a middle shelf, which sits on top of the supports, whereas the outer shelves do not, they connect into the side of the shelves. I had to put a bracket on it to hold it in place on that support. Luckily it isn't noticeable from a casual distance. If people were putting this together and only had the tools included with the shelves, this shelf would not be attached on one side. As it is, I had to drill into the metal with self-drilling metal screws, and put some small wood screws into the shelf part. Thankfully I had extra screws, brackets, etc., from other past projects so I was able to fix it myself instead of waiting to receive a new part.Pros:It is very lightweight.Minimal tools needed to put it together (other than noted in con section).Looks stylish and clean.Adjustable feet in case you need to level the overall unit.Pretty sturdy once it is put together.Nice distance between shelves.Packed very well, with foam or the foam sheets between pieces, so the few small scratches and chips were most likely not due to shipping.Cons:Wobbly when you are putting it together. No way to keep it sturdy while putting it together.Holes in wrong side of shelf support.A few shelves has tiny to small-ish chips on the sides and tops. Most were able to be placed in a lower position or with the chips towards the back or bottom. Some of the metal pieces had scratches in them, but most aren't that noticeable because I was able to point them towards the back. The x-frame cross beam supports aren't as sturdy as you want them to be.The x-frame cross beam supports also have to be bent some for all the holes to line up.The shelves aren't completely level because of the way the screws and holes/hole size are. Don't get this if you are anal about things being level.Over 100lbs weight in shipping box, so you will probably need help getting it inside.Overall, I like it, but it could be better and there is room for improvement in QC and handling prior to shipping, as other reviews mentioned both the incorrect holes defect and chips/scratches.

Worth the cost! Sturdy and look nice! Don't have chemical smell, even though engineered wood.
I decided to buy these even though they are more costly than others offered. However, the weight limit per shelf is basically double the others and these are very sturdy book cases. If we need another one in the future, I won't hesitate!

Beautiful shelf
This is a beautiful shelf. It is big and looks expensive. It was packaged well. I was able to put it together by myself in about 1.5 hour. It was somewhat challenging (it is taller than I am) and I think it would be much easier with another person. I bought it to hold my textbooks and some plants and bought it specifically because it says each shelf can hold 70 pounds. I don't know that I would put that much weight on each shelf, but it does seem sturdy. My cat has decided to make one of the shelves her own, and the shelf supports her without difficulty. She weighs 13 pounds. Word of caution: if you are putting plants on it and water leaks, it will get through the faux marble coating and warp the particle board underneath. I don't feel as though this is a design flaw as it's not labeled as a plant shelf, but I did end up moving that shelf to the bottom and putting the warped part to the back. Lesson learned.
