Great product definitely definitely definitely recommend

I purchased this ab mat because my local Crossfit coach at Honey Badger Gym recommended me to get an ab mat for home to work on strengthening my core. This is a good stiff and sturdy ab mat that I use 3 times a week and I also use the band for stretching. I would recommend Elite Sportz products to anyone, they are a top notch company that offer great deals on products if you sign up with them after purchasing a piece of equipment from them. I own this ab-mat and a muscle roller from them and the products are great, the quality is top notch and the customer service is amazing. This one is similar to the other abdominal sit-up support mats I had purchased for others and myself. The quality, foam density, size are all similar to the other 2 brands I have used at the gym. I have seen big, tall and small stature persons using them. I will buy this brand again because it is cheaper than the others plus it comes with a nice 4" wide resistance band that is very useful to me. The company also sent me a link with some workout tips and etc, I don't need it but they may be useful info for people new to training and wanting to know more working out techniques. To me that is a little extra service and care. Their subsequent follow up emails soliciting for customer satisfaction and reviews were friendly and not annoying. I also found another use for this mat. Currently I am using this in my car :) to fill the bucket seat that is scooped so that it levels my car seat cushion.

Great to help protect your back with sit ups but sometimes too much on the lower back

I bought this pad to do abdominal exercises for my husband who has 2 diascal hernias and it works perfectly for him, it is comfortable and supports weight

This pad is awesome. Usually I can't do very many situps because my back and neck start hurting. Using this pad, the only strain is on my abdominal muscles, and my back gets a pleasant little stretch while I'm at it.My kids have very weak cores and can't do sit ups, so their physical therapist had them put a pillow under their backs and they still struggled, but with this pad, my 9 year old daughter can do them without assistance. She feels proud of her accomplishment and is actually doing her exercises more often.

I like the ab mat it is what I am used to using and works great.However, it kind of smells like it was in someone's basement for a few years before shipping it to me. Not sure why because it was wrapped in plastic and in the original box. I can't get rid of the smell either, I keep spraying it with air freshener and leaving outside to get some air.
