-FIRST CHARGEI purchased (2 pack) these lights for my chicken coop, which is located in a dark area at the back of my property. I received these on Monday afternoon around the afternoon time. I placed the lights out of the box and into the sun light shortly after receiving them. They were in the sunlight for maybe 4 to 5 hours before nightfall. Given the minimal amount of sunlight these received, I fully did not expect them to have enough charge for the light to be bright or illuminate the area I needed, if any of it.-INSTRUCTIONS AND MODESOnce night fall came, I went ahead, removed them from the area I had them placed for the first charge and made my way to the coop. The instructions were simple enough for a second grader to comprehend. Simply take them out of the box, allow them to charge by placing them to receive sunlight, and then choose your mode.Mode 1: Continuous light illuminated at it's highest capacity.Mode 2: The light stays on steadily with a dim light, until motion is detected. Once motion is detected, the light shines at it's greatest capacity for (I Believe around 15 seconds).Mode 3: The light is completely off until motion is detected, if motion is detected the light will turn on to full capacity for around 15 seconds, then turn fully off.The modes are easily adjustable with a simple button on the back. Press it once, the light is in mode one. Press it twice, the light is in mode two. Three times? You guessed it, mode 3. Four presses of the button on the back turns off the light. I am using it in mode 3, which will be in the video, to hopefully deter any predators from around the coop.-LIGHTING AND MOTION DETECTIONLike I said earlier, the lights received minimal charge on the first night. I didn't expect much, but WOW was I blown away. The LED lights lit up much more than I thought they would even if they were at full charge. The motion detection is probably around 15 to 20 foot away if I had to guess. For the price, these lights are far beyond what you pay for.-DURABILITY, AESTHETIC, AND WATER PROOF (WEATHER)Given these are 2 lights for so cheap, the product has the lights and black plastic. Personally, I do not think they look bad, but they probably aren't suitable for the "upper class", fancy type.I cannot comment on the durability as of yet, due to having the product for just a few days, but I will say as long as you aren't throwing, hitting or some how abusing the outer protection area, they seem to will last for much longer than you'd expect for $12 lights.They have only been in one light summer shower this far, but once night fall came they continued to work and no water appeared to have damaged any of the product. This subject will be updated once I am able to speak on these in hard rain or storms.**The coop is not done. It is functional to house chickens safely and efficiently at the time.**

Great value, easy instructions.These have three modes, all dependent on darkness:ON brightON dimON with motion heat sensor trigger for 15 seconds.Works like a charm.

FINALLY motion activated lights that work! My only complaint is the mechanism to alter the functionality is on the back side, and if you screw it into place, you will then need to unscrew to change it.Water resistant. Bright. Best of all it WORKS! I've bought so many others that failed within a few weeks.

Purchased these small solar lights to put on the fascia boards of our house along the sidewalk leading to our door. I screwed them about 8 feet apart and they are about 10-12ft from the sidewalk. I’ve had them a few weeks now and set them to come on full bright and stay on for 20 seconds. They work beautifully. I have a mud swallow nest right on the globe of my porch light. I feel bad leaving the light on them. Ups and fed ex can now have light in the fall/winter when it gets dark at 5:30pm. These lights have not failed to come on at all. Each one lights up about 12-15 feet. The rain and roof runoff has not affected the performance. The durability of these are outstanding. It’s very easy to set them how you want. 20second full bright, full bright, 20 second dim bright. Wonderful. I’m gonna get two more for the dogs back yard. I highly recommend these small solar lights.

These are AMAZING! We placed them on our fence and spaced them about 20 feet apart. They are easy to link up and illuminate the yard well to check it before putting our dogs out. They set off quickly when something sets off the motion detector and stay on as long as they detect movement. They have held up well to being rained on a lot and still work. The only time rain affects them is if the day is super cloudy and they aren't able to recharge as well as they do on a normal day. They are small and you hardly even notice they are there. They are easy to install and move around. We tried multiple different lights before trying these and these are the ones that we kept!

Great value nice bright and works nicely with the siding clips (bought separately) so you can install it right on the side of your house without needing to drill holes or anything.It's great but one already died that was installed in September but at this price I don't mind replacing them. They work great.

These are fantastic for the price! If you’re wondering if you should get them, just do it. Great price and they work as I expected. Brighter than I had pictured, too, which was my only concern when ordering.I made the mistake of mounting one in a really shady spot and I had to move it. It was very easy to do so. But definitely plan on putting it somewhere with adequate DIRECT sunlight. Just a small oversight on my part.It’s only been a few days, but eventually we will see how they hold up in the rain and snow.I will say they are all plastic and not “luxurious” or “fancy” by any means, but for the price and quick delivery they are splendid for my needs (I work nights and have dogs).I mounted 3 along my back fence and one in side yard. I will be ordering additional for the opposite side yard!Finally, there are three functions. The 3rd click of the button is the feature I use, which stays on in the dark and brightens further when it senses motion. Perfect for fetch in the dark 😂
