The Gospel (Big Theology for Little Hearts)

I got this book for a friends baby shower but read it to my three year old first. It was simple and worded great for small children to understand. My child loved the pictures and was able to understand the gospel! Praise the Lord! He has been wanting to talk about God and pray daily now. This book is so sweet and needed for all God loving families.

I loved this book! I bought if for our kids ministry. It's important to me that kids are able to hear and understand the gospel in a way they can understand. This book does a great job of taking every day things we hear about the gospel and explaining them to children. It makes us as adults take a step back and think about how we explain the gospel, and the language we use when sharing it, to someone who may have never heard it before.

The media could not be loaded. We really like this book because the pictures are very simple yet fun although they could be a little bit more bright with the colors for a little children. We like the diversity at play in many of the pictures for our mixed family. We like that if you know the Bible stories or references that are in the pictures, you can get even more out of the pictures. However, the pictures are also just cool to look at if you don’t know the background! It has fundamental vocabulary of the gospel message and the function of the gospel in our lives! The “sacrifice” pages says that Jesus died only for God’s people, which might show a Calvinistic background, but nothing that strongly shows through the book otherwise.

Absolutely love this book for children but honestly it's so well written and just beautifully implies the gospel. Highly recommend.

It’s the gospel spelled out. The language is not for a toddler but it can be if you add your explanations to it. The illustration goes well with the story. I would recommend if you want it share the plain truth of salvation.

This is a great, simple, theologically sound baby book about the Gospel. I purchased for baby's Easter basket. Such as simple way to teach baby about the gospel as they grow!

So glad about this for my grandchildren.
