Josh's Frogs 1/4" Banded Crickets (120 Count)

This a great company. I've ordered from them 3 times now and only had problems one time. I received a box of dead crickets. I contacted the company and they immediately offered me a refund or replacement. I chose replacement because I have hungry critters. The replacement crickets came quickly and with no dead ones. I was very happy to with their service. I have ordered from other companies, and I've found that Josh's frogs is my favorite supplier for crickets. Their prices are fair and their products come quickly and in good shape. (alive). My critters (tree frogs, leopard gecko and Beardie.) all seem to love the crickets. Josh's Frogs has terrific customer service. I will definitely be ordering from them again.

This is my second order and the first was great but the second was horrible. Almost all of them are dead and smells horrible. I literally cannot believe this since I saw so many alive the first purchase.

My brother found a tiny gecko in his bathroom. Then went outside and found one crawling on his front porch. There are several of them and they all were wanting to go in his house. This is a long story for another time. My brother like myself had a stroke and depends on his daughter for his shopping needs. One of the geckos has dropped his tail so he’s keeping it in an enclosed tank along with a couple others of various sizes till the one grows his tail back. His daughter was stopping at PetCo around once a week for crickets and so I told him about Josh’s. Then I just ordered him 500 small crickets so he could see for himself. When they came he had his cricket tank container ready. I had told him there would be a “whole lotta” crickets. When he opened the box and the cylinder he turned it upside down and several crickets fell onto the small tank and he said there weren’t as many as he thought. Then he pulled out the cardboard egg crate and he said damn it was covered in small crickets. They were jumping all over that little tank. He called me so pleased and so happy to see the condition of all of them all too. He figured he would see a bunch of dead ones but there were only a few. I told him Josh’s was the best place I have found for reptile food. I have tiny anoles and recommend everyone buy from Josh’s. You get more than what you pay for. My brother is so happy to just open this tank and see all these healthy crickets. He said when you buy 50 of them at Petco they are in a prefilled paper bag and you will always see at least 10 dead ones in the bag of 70 and that just looks bad. To buy 500 or more and they are alive and “they came by mail” he said, is just extraordinary. He has the food to keep them that way too. He used to work at Petco and he said they have never carried crickets this small. Thank you Josh’s for another very satisfied customer!! My brother is ecstatic!!

I am actually pretty impressed with how many survived and how fast the shipping was. I ordered late sunday night and they came wednesday morning. But i did order 1/4 inch and recieved 1/2 inch and quite a bit 3/4 inchers. Im raising a baby bearded dragon so 1/4 inch would have been preffered and that way i would have some 1/2 inch after a few weeks as that is the biggest she will be able to eat. But now this shipment probaly wont suite me that long since they will be well above that size by then. But kuddos to the healthy state they arrived in. Ive had more die on a car ride home from the pet store with 10% the quanity they had survive 3 day shipping. I would give 5 star if it wasnt for the size being wrong. Update 3/13/24 2nd purchase this time 99% alive but they are smaller then 1/4 inch this time they are pinhead. Witch is good because I have a weeks worth of adults left that are breeding so I'll have more pinhead to house with these pinhead and by time I run out of adult these should be about 1/4 inch so although they are the wrong size again. It works out to fit my needs pretty good.

Majority came dead

Ordered and had a very cold change in weather, order arrived less than half alive. AGAIN NO FAULT TO ANYONE. Contacted the seller and get a replacement order 2 days later. With almost 100% happy and healthy. You can tell the quality is superior, a lot of pet stores have mutated visibly due to poor care and breeding. Not here. Thank you!!

Wow! Literally arrived probably 99% alive. I have never had such a successful cricket delivery - Flukers had me believing 50% death rate on these was normal. Found a new regular company for sure.
