So the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that the poison kills the ants immediately (sometimes you find ants in pieces) and it won't allow them to go back to the colony to kill the others. Also when the poison is in tube it's runny but when you pour it on the counter in few hours it turns out so sticky that takes a while to clean it afterwards.

Does the job

I've bought this product for years and it was like Jelly when it came out of the tube, this new batch is like water and in no way as effective as the previous product, disappointing really as it was once a very good reliable product.

This gel is so effective in killing ants. Simply put a small amount on a coin or similar and the little pests soon gather around and take it back to their nest and presto soon gone

The only thing that has made any kind of difference.

We have definitely had less ants in the problem area. This lasts a long time so is good value. There is no noticeable smell. One thing to note is you will need a none porous surface or ant trap to put this in you can’t add directly to the area. This does make it easier to clean up though

Ants started coming into the house, started spraying them with a solution of white vinigar and washing up liquid, that killed them quickly, but they kept coming back, after reading up on reviews, I went for this product. A couple of drops on a stone outside and the ants were immediately drawn to the syrup. That night, no more ants foraging around the kitchen, I never expected this product to work so quick. Thoroughly recommended.
