Woods Clamp Lamp Light with Aluminum Reflector; 150W; UL Listed; 6- Foot Cord

We’ve been using this aluminum reflector lamp for our new chicken setup in upstate NY, and it’s worked perfectly alongside our 150W heat bulbs. The clamp holds securely, even in our wooden coop, and the 6-foot cord gives us enough flexibility for proper placement.It feels sturdy and safe, and the reflector design really helps direct the warmth where we need it. It’s made a noticeable difference in keeping our animals cozy, especially during the cold season. Definitely a great purchase if you’re using heat lamps for chickens or small pets!

Great light

I am using them with grow lights. They are reasonably sturdy for the price. The clamp on the lamps holds tight to the board I have the lamps clipped to, and the reflector adjustments are working just fine.I can't say how they would hold up to a lot of adjustments of the reflector position, but so far I am pleased.

Disappointing that this product can only be used with lightweight "A" E26 bulbs (comes with a tiny sticker inside that warns to stick with A to minimize risk of fire). I tested out a PAR38 LED grow bulb, which is what I bought it for. Others have reported successfully using clamp-style fixtures like this one with PAR38 LEDs. The bulb I tried is a Philips 15.5W bulb (60W incandescent equivalent), well within the rated wattage capability of this fixture. Despite this being one of the most established brands on the market, the socket cannot support the weight of the bulb. The bulb works fine- but in this fixture it will light for a few minutes, then go out, flickering briefly whenever the on/off switch is flipped in either direction. This does not happen with a standard A19 LED bulb. I did not test during the return window, and since this product "technically" works as advertised I cannot return as defective. I expect more from a name brand utility fixture, especially since there isn't a heavier duty version available for purchase. At the moment I'm left completely unable to use the best light for one full-sun indoor plant without going through the trouble of building my own lamp setup.

The rubberized clamp is strong, wide and sturdy for versatile mounting. There is one wingnut which I think if adjusted correctly (loosen before adjusting; tighten once done!) will do a fine job angling this light to focus as I need it. 6' cord is sufficient for most mounting locations. I installed a CFL bulb primarily to keep the heat down; secondly to keep the wattage down. This will come in handy especially at my workbench and under car hoods. May need to get a little creative to clamp a small hook in the clamp. Then it could function like a drop light. Don't be fooled, this thing is industrial and ugly. Only use in finished areas of your home where it can't be easily seen. If you use an incandescent bulb, be considerate of heat and don't start fires or burn your furniture, young kids or pets.

Like the line cord

I ended up using this in the goat shed when they had kids. It kept them warm in middle December. I was very glad I had it. Lasted a long time, stayed tight and worked great.
