Awesome saw. Great quality. Great price.
I have owned a few reciprocating saws, makita, dewalt, ryobi, Milwaukee and even a Chicago electric. I would rate this one right up there somewhere around the ryobi but just less balls than the dewalt. For the price, which is slightly less than the Chicago electric (once you buy the bare tool, NI-CD battery and charger) you get alot more bang for your buck.For one the battery is lithium ion, this being my second dextra tool I can tell you, it is a pretty decent battery. It has a light up charge display and is much lighter than an NI-CD battery.Secondly the tool itself is as light as a ryobi sawzall but more compact and very easy to handle one-handed, which electricians do often when cutting conduit.For the price you really cannot go wrong.My tool actually came with a defective battery that would not take a charge but one email to the manufacturer and everything was taken care of.

Battery/Charger died after 3 uses
Used it 2 or 3 times. Went to use it recently and tried to charge the battery but the red and green charger lights just flashed and the battery never charged. Don't know if it is the charger or the battery. Overall feel of the entire unit is cheap. I do not recommend this unit.

really solid built for this price long battery life I used for cutting tree limbs and works fine.

great saw for the money
Good saw for a first timer. I have used it to cut small branches that my pruner couldn't handle. I've never used a saw before. It is easy to use (although there are no instructions for installing a blade, I had to figure that out on my own). It is very well made and comes with the battery, charger and a nice case. A good deal for the money.

My husband says this works great, especially for the price
My husband says this works great, especially for the price. He has not used it much but it does what it needs to do. I had ordered it as a Christmas present and asked for faster shipping to arrive in time and I got a reply telling me to call them. I never did call but the item arrived on Christmas Eve, which was perfect.

Great Sawzall! Long Lasting 18 Volt Battery
Its a Great Sawzall but it will not hold the Blade in.any help would be appreciated.
