Sea Wall / A Life

This was a truly great experience. This disc is phenomenal. Had the privilege of seeing Sturridge and Gyllenhaal in New York during this shows run. It was one of the greatest theatrical experiences. This recording brings it all back. Even if you didn't see the show, these readings are well worth the purchase price, and then some!

Sea Wall/ A Life was a good read by Simon Stephens and Nick Payne. Alex is a photographer on holiday with his family. Abe is a music producer who is expecting a child. These two men take you on an unforgettable journey. This is a great short read about transformative love and devastating loss.

Such a moving and beautifully composted book. I listened to an audio book and felt that I am on Broadway and seeing a one actor play. It's a 2 short stories (both are sad ) but you'll think long after you are done with it. Life and death, love and connection, forgiveness and so much more.

I tried three times to get through the first 10 minutes of this story. Yuk! Nuff said.
