The Practical Skeptic: Core Concepts in Sociology, 6th edition 6th Edition, Kindle Edition

I'm using this product for one of my college classes and I thought it would be bigger like the science textbooks you see but it's about the size of a normal book, not a big, heavy, and bulky textbook. Great size!

Great book! Lisa McIntyre explains sociology basics in a very interesting manner. Not dull or boring at all. I liked it so much I wish I hadn't rented it! Sad to see this one go back in the mail.. boo hoo.I also really like the fact that it is 6 1/2 x 9 inches. Small, easy to carry around, light. Just awesome all around. Great introduction to sociology.

This book got to me very quickly, which was nice. I was using it for my sociology 101 class. Although I did not do much reading in the text it was an easy read for the class. This was not the most exciting thing to read and the chapters were longer than I would have liked, which is part of why I never did the readings for the class. I did fine in the class without the readings. Renting the book was great because I didn't have to purchase it full price!

I bought mine used and throughout some of the pages there are crumbs... gross, but it was pretty cheap so I’m not super mad.

The book came very fast, within a day of ordering. I need it as a rental for my college class. It is in awful condition with folded pages and writing all over. There is highlighter on almost every page. I need it until December for my class, but it looks terrible upon receipt.
