Incase Textured Hardshell Woolenex - MacBook Pro 16 inch Case - 2020, 2019 - MacBook Case, Laptop Cover, Protective Hard Shell, Scratch Resistant, Lightweight (Graphite)

As far as shell cases go, this Incase Textured Hardshell in Wolenex is not cheap. However, you get a really lovely case for the money. Unlike most shell cases, this one is protected in this denim-like material, pulled tight. This gives the laptop a more comfortable feel with no sharp, plastic edges to speak of. It really does make a world of difference from the generic black, white, blue, green etc straight-up plastic shells. My 16" MacBook Pro fit perfectly into this. The ports are exposed, a necessity of course, but something to be aware of. The fit and finish on mine has been excellent. The only downside I've found is that occasionally opening the laptop when in clamshell mode can result in the edge of the case lifting very slightly off the display portion of the case right where you grab to open. Nothing major, and generally avoidable. Overall, this is a great case. I was happy the second it went on, and weeks later I'm still thrilled with it. 5 stars out of 5. Excellent.

looks luxurious and is a good replacement for a older Incase hardshell replacement for MacBook Pro 16 inch that laster 5 years albeit with some chips and cracks. Mac Book case remains pristine.

I rarely write Amazon reviews but this annoys the heck out of me. I bought this for my newly purchased Macbook Air M1 2020, because I have the similar texture from Incase for my Airpods (fun fact, that one has not been a fantastic purchase either, but I guess I didn't learn my lesson.) Immediately upon installing this case, it was clear it didn't fit snuggly. The right side of the bottom case clearly did not clip together all the way. However the case is largely still a case, provides nice protection from scratching, and it's barely noticable to me that the right side isn't clipping on the way the left side is. (See photos) However, I've started noticing little Black plastic fragments near me the past few days. I had no idea what these were until I was casually holding my laptop just now and another one fell off, from the upper left corner. I realized these were coming from the case. Surprised, as I have had both the laptop and the case for only two months. I have done nothing more dramatic than gently place my laptop on a desk, as anyone would treat a laptop they just bought and spent a lot of money towards a case for. And yet it is cracking apart. I thought this was a fluke. Did I just touch that corner harder than I realized? I tried very, very, very gently, to touch another remaining piece of the corner. The headline for this review is an exaggeration - it is far harder for me to peel egg shell off a boiled egg, than it was for me to break off another piece of this laptop case. I can't possible imagine how brittle this case is that it fell apart this easily, this quickly, with minimal use. Between this and my experience with the Airpod Pro case equivalent, I will never be buying an Incase product again. Passionately.

Incase provides the best protection for your MacBook. It was easy to install on my computer. It doesn't add weight or take away from the functionality of the laptop. Not to mention Amazon had the case for a great price.

I had the grey version of the incase woolenex case for a while but one of the clips broke after repeatedly taking it off and putting it back on, it still held on alright and I hadn't planned on replacing it until I saw this awesome red version, I had to have it. The tolerances are quite challenging for macbook case as it has very little to grab on to without obstructing the closure of the laptop, but out of two of these incase cases, both fit, although this red one ended being VERY tight, it barely fit on the bottom but that's more of a positive for the top because on the gray one that was a little less tight, the case would slightly detach at the point you grab the display to lift it open and that popping off and on really cheapened the experience but this one holds on much better. The color matches the pictures shown online well, and the name "Old Brick" really fits, it's definitely a 'brick' shade of red. So I definitely recommend these woolenex cases, the fabric feel is awesome, they fit, and as long as you just leave it alone and don't take it off and put it back on all the time, it'll hold up fine, but I will deduct a star because you should be able to take it off and reattach for cleaning more often but hey if you're using a case you probably care enough about your mac to not let it get so dirty in the first place 🤷‍♀️

Super easy to snap in place. I got a perfect fit with no loose hanging areas. It gives I nice feel with a good grip, so no chance of slipping out of hand. I think it gives a classy look. I only wish the apple logo would show through.

Not sure why people are saying that it doesn't fit the new M1 MacBook Air since it fits perfectly on mine. Looks awesome and so glad I got it instead of a cheapo case.

the felt material is nice, it looks great, though the fit is a little too tight for my 2019 macbook pro. the thing is, i bought two of these. the tabs fell apart within weeks of purchasing on both cases. do not buy this if you are looking for durability. if you use your laptop regularly for work or studying, this will not last you more than a month.

I received the MacBook case and I’m 100% sure I got the right one. However, this case seems to be wrong. I tried to put it on and it wouldn’t go fit. I know these covers normally snap on but it couldn’t even go over to fit the MacBook. Also, the space the on the case for the charging ports COVER the ports. Very inefficient - why would I want a case that covers my ports? Either Incase really messed up this design or the seller is selling a fake one. Incase is a reputable company that even Apple stands by, but this is highly disappointing. Don’t buy this, don’t break your MacBook just trying to put it on. Not worth it.

Feels great. It’s tough. Slim. Used on a Mac Air M1 Silicon 2020. Best quality hard shell case I’ve owned. Tech 21 may look shiny and cool and their drop protection sounds great and they are top quality alternatives to this if you are researching... but they tend to scratch over time ... whereas this wool cover should look as good as new for a long time. Incase sigue siendo de lo mejor para proteger mis laptops. Desde el Incase Icon a este Hardshell, esta marca siempre cumple protegiendo, sin perder en diseño y belleza, mis laptops. Cambiamos el hardshell anterior porque accidentalmente limpiandolo le rompimos los agarres.
