Fabric Scissors, Heavy Duty 8 inch Sewing Scissors for Leather Tailor,Tailoring Shears for Home Office Craft Black

I bought these in 2024 and they are by far my favorite scissors of all time. They are a great quality and are still sharp. I originally bought them for fitting sheep but I’ve been using them for everything else. Fabric, thread, paper, wool, and plastic and they are still sharp, tight, and cut everything smoothly. I’ve bought good singer scissors for my fabrics and it’s used only for fabric and thread, but these scissors cut just as good if not better and so I’m replacing my pampered thread scissors with another set of these just for sewing and keeping my others in rotation for every thing else. Definitely worth the money, especially if you like heavier scissors and not plastic handled lightweight scissors. These are easy to grip and are comfortable making cutting anything a breeze. I’ve never sharpened them and have had to do 1 scrub on them where some rust showed up from me not cleaning them or drying them after clipping dirty wool. Other than that they’ve been pretty much perfect

I was shopping for a pair of do it all kitchen scissors. The kind that could cut through fish skin and bones, as well as chicken or pork. Then to wash them, throw them in a drawer somewhere, and after weeks of non use come out clipping coupons or homework assignments with ultra sharp, precise lines. I got that and my mind blown at the same time. These are THE BEST pair of scissors I have ever purchased. Hands down. Sharper than anything they can cut through just about everything with no effort. Easy to clean and easy to tighten if they ever do wiggle loose, but I have not had to adjust anything on them since I purchased them. I know they are labeled fabric/heavy duty scissors, but since I wanted kitchen shears/utility scissors combo, I thought I would try these out and see how they do. Everytime I take them out and cut something, I break out in this huge smile because of how effortlessly it glides through whatever I'm cutting. My old scissors couldn't even cut paper or thin fabric as it would just fold over and slip between the blades. Especially at the tips because it would just bend the blades outward. These hardened-steel scissors will cut perfectly every time. Kind of silly getting excited about a pair of scissors, but it just goes to show you how much junk is being shoveled to us and when a real tool shows up, it overly impresses'. If you are looking for large utility scissors, precision scissors, kitchen scissors, perfect garden scissors or even scissors for the toolbox or garage, this 1 set does it all and with its rust protection, itll be around for a while.

I bought these to use for back-up fabric scissors after I gave up getting my daughter to stop stealing my KAIs and started using my off-brand back-ups full-time. I was attracted to this particular pair, because they can be taken apart to sharpen and come with the tool to do so. These are excellent scissors, cut really well and have a comfortable (to me) handle. I've had no trouble with the nut on the scissors loosening (11/23/25), but I'll update if that happens. In the meantime, I've demoted my back-ups again and am using this pair as my primary fabric scissors

The first thing I noticed about these scissors was the wonderful quality. They have a good weight to them, indicating their ability to cut through thicker material than standard shears. I love that I can have one pair that does it all. The scissors came pre-greased to ensure they were prepared and ready for use. I tested them with a standard cotton material, and I was impressed with what a wonderful experience I had. They cut through the fabric without any snags or need for adjustments. I know that I can rely on these scissors for any future sewing or DIY projects with relevant material. Th only downside I had with ordering this item was that the advertised accessories did not come with mine. This was pretty frustrating, as this had been one of the deciding factors in my selection. I resolved this with Amazon and had to order the items separately. Overall, I think that the pair of scissors is a great value for the price and would repurchase them myself or recommend them to anyone with a project on their hands or for regular use. Great quality scissors. But I didn’t receive the tape measure

Cuts through fabric with ease. The weight of the scissors is an even weight. Not to heavy not to light. They cut as sleek as they look. I had to buy a second pair only because my husband used them on paper and they are now the best paper scissors I own however, I do not suggest as these are the best fabric scissors.
