Q: Can this be used on the arm?

Yes, while I predominantly use it on my hands but as somebody bothered with dry skin I sometimes use it on arms and legs to good effect. I have also noticed that I am have been needing far less steroid cream on my hands since I started using it.

Q: Why add Titanium dioxide to the formulation? This is not a sunscreen, I’ve researched it and can’t understand why it is in there?

Titanium dioxide is used in toothpaste also!... it gives the creams their white colouring and works as a thickening agent. That's its only use in this particular formula, only titanium dioxide in high amounts can be classed as a sunscreen! :)

Hi, thank you for your question. Titanium dioxide is an approved UV-filter. Nano technology allows a great cosmetic feel - the feedback has been fantastic. Concerns regarding nanotechnology are because people worry that small particles may pass through the skin. However, on the whole, in sunscreen technology nano actually means big - the nano particles are larger than the other chemical filters that are typically smaller. I hope this helps.
