These filters seem to work fine with my DeLonghi espresso maker.However, the blue cap on top of the filter has a window that enables you to turn it to dial in the month you installed it, so you know when to replace it in 2 months.The problem is that the diameter of the blue cap prevents the water reservoir top from being installed. You need to remove the blue cap for it to work in my espresso maker model ECAM35020B.

I tried these filters since they were on a lighting deal and absolutely regret it. I have a Delonghi Dinamica Plus machine that I keep well maintained. I had just completed a standard descale and filter change, made myself a coffee and the wife made a tea. I noticed my coffee tasted off and that’s when the wife said something was wrong with her tea. These filters give the water a sour chemical taste. I ran multiple descaling cycles, filter rinse cycles in addition to water rinse cycles troubleshooting the problem. It was the filters. I have no idea what chemical cocktail we pumped into our gullets but it can’t be good. I couldn’t find what these filters are made of and that’s a concern as well. Some filters use Ion exchange resins to remove impurities and the resin can degrade over time releasing hydrogen ions that can cause a sour/ acidic taste. So best case scenario they are expired/old. Morale of the story, you get what you pay for. Spend the money to get quality filters. Stay away from these.
