Will this product work with #2 square drive ?

I used a square drive, but could not get the hang of it. After practicing on scrap pieces, only some drives were good, others were over or under. I shelved it and did my whole deck without it.

What is range of depth that can be set?

could never get the existing bit to release so I could put in another bit. Anyone know how to do this?

Retract the collar exposing the bit. Then with a pair of pliers pull the bit out and insert another. The retention mechanism is mechanical and strong. Will some what break in with use. The aggressive retention, in my opinion, is a plus.

It's magnetic? Hold screws?

I haven't used mine for a while so i checked and no it is not... I used the device to install Trex on my deck and the screws were long enough that I could hold the screw to start it. Hope this helps. Wes
