Good quality at an economical price.
This is my first Barton watch band, and I am very pleased with the purchase. The leather seems to be good quality, and the stitching is solid. I am impressed also with the finish of the leather: it is not a suede, but is very soft and has a matte finish which is very modern. The band is not an excessively thick leather (about 2mm) so it flexes easily around the wrist. The hardware (pins, buckle) is metal and fits well. I didn't buy it for the quick-release pins as I generally don't switch out watch bands, but they are quite easy to use and seem well constructed. Of course, it remains to be seen how well the band will hold up over time, but out of the box the band is impressive. Speaking of the box, it's a nice touch that the band comes in a little lidded cardboard box as opposed to cheap packaging. It is recyclable if you don't want to keep it, or it can be reused. I'll definitely be buying more Barton straps as I need them in the future.

Amazing Quality and Support
I had gotten this band for my first gen moto 360. In the description, it notes as "not ideal" and that is because the portion of the band that will snap in has a lot of leather, and there is not much room in the moto 360 band holder. But if you squeeze it and finagle it, it will fit.Onto the actual review - I was wearing the band for about 2 or 3 weeks when I had an issue with the stitching on the underside of the band. I emailed Barton about this and after a couple quick email exchanges with Zach from Barton, a new one was sent out! Long story short, I got the new band and the stitching is perfect on this one.The quality of the leather is great and breaks in very well, which was a characteristic of both bands I had gotten. Looks sleek, and feels great. The underside of the leather turns a darker beige the more you wear it, but that is expected as sweat and dirt will get into the pores of the leather. Any band will do that.Perfect length for me; I use the 5th band notch as I have somewhat smaller wrists.Quick release is a very nice addon, especially for the moto 360 because there is not much room to mess with anything. So the quick release really comes in handy with the moto 360. I can see it not being a necessity for other watches (be it smart or not), but it is really a life saver with the moto 360.Overall, extremely happy with the band and the support from Barton. My next band will be from Barton, but that may take some time to get to the point of needing a new band.

Pretty good. Price has gone up.
After 4 years of use, it's time to replace. I probably wear this watch two or three times a week on average, and the band is about to fall apart. I'm not sure if that's a normal lifespan for a leather band, but I wish it would have lasted longer. It looks nice, the stitching has held up well, and the painted buckle doesn't show any wear. I paid 27 dollars in 2021 and now they're asking for 35. I'll have to shop around before deciding if I want to buy another one of these.

Nice Quality Strap!
Nice quality band. I love the quick release feature. I do wish the strap was about an eighth of an inch longer for us big wrist people. I have the blue and white as well, definitely worth the money.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Not real leather or stainless steel, paint rubbed off in less than 5 min
Very cheap band and I'm not convinced it's leather. I have a lot of leather products- saddles, bridles, purses, belts, boots, shoes....and watch bands, and sorry to say this band doesn't look, feel or smell like leather. It's just another piece of Made in China garbage.Hadn't even had it attached to the watch 5 minutes and the "paint" was rubbing off where the band rubs up against the watch (see 2nd pic). The box it was packaged in is worth more than the band, IMO. But crap is still crap no matter how it's packaged. Definitely not worth $29. I do not feel safe having this attached to a $350+ watch.Furthermore, the color I ordered was called "carmel tan leather," but what I got (according to the box) was called "weathered brown." Completely different looking than what I ordered. This band is a shiny light-medium brown and not weathered at all. (See 9th pic attached for a picture of the color I was supposed to get.)In order to loosen it up a bit I rolled it between my fingers (as if you were holding a slinky and moving your palms up and down), so the creasing you see is from that. Otherwise, it is not "weathered."To make matters worse, the buckle is not stamped "stainless steel." Most products I have that are stainless are stamped as such, like the OEM watch band that came with the watch (see 8th pic).In short-- probably not real leather- doesn't look, feel, act or smell like leather- buckle not stainless steel- color received completely different than what I ordered- in less than 5 minutes the color/paint rubbed off where band rubbed up against watch

Not as pictured, but still decent.
The photo shows a thick two tone band, with a lighter unfinished underside that seems plush. What I received was still a decent leather band, but more basic. All the same color and not quite as thick / plush. Still looks good, color is as described. Overall a solid product. I just wish it were more accurate. These do seem to run a little short in length also.
