Try running the sprayer under some warm water. And also, the first spray is kinda hard to start. Once started works fine.

Can this be taken on an airplane in checked luggage?

Sure. If not the small size for carry on, put it in checked bag. Done it many times.

Don't buy this product!

$46.00 is too much for any hairspray, but I really wanted to try it after my stylist used it and I liked it. I ordered it and it was delivered. The spray DOES NOT come out. I tried to have it replaced, but Amazon says it is not refundable or replaceable. Just Great! Lost money and no product.. Tried Amazon customer service, but they were NO help. Order at your own risk if you have money to throw away.
