Works great!
I enjoyed installing my quad mini-split system as a home improvement project. It took me longer than usual time due to not having all the tools for drilling, cutting and flaring lines, and also didn't measure my lines correctly. The wall unit installation was the easiest. However, be prepared to spend a little extra on line covers, and electrical installation if you're not an electrician. Luckily, the HVAC technician that I hired was very knowledgeable and charged me $750 for electrical installation to the panel, and doing initial vacuuming of the lines. The units exceed my expectation. They look great and are way quieter than window AC. They also cool down the house real fast. I was also able to connect my units to Alexa and I'm real happy that this summer my house will be a lot more cooler. To me is worth the investment compared to $15,000 estimates that I received. If you have common sense and are crafty, you can install the units yourself. I really recommend this product. Also, call Senville to let them know the line sizes you need. All the units bought in Amazon come with standard 15 ft lines. For my large house, I had to order two additional 50 ft and one 25 ft, which I wished I had since the beginning since Senville will charge you additionally for the extra lines, so let them know. Hope this helps!

Mini split Air conditioner
This Senville dual zone mini split is an awesome machine. It literally cools the entire house. It made our house livable again since the heat was killing us, specially at night when we were trying to sleep. I am so thankful for this unit and highly recommended to everyone who doesn’t want to spend a crazy amount of money to install a central AC unit from scratch without a furnace. We were quoted 40k for a central unit since we don’t have a furnace. That is when I started looking for another option and I found this mini split. Man what a joy to be able to be comfortable not matter the temperature outside. I am pleased with my Senville AC unit. I installed it myself and also did the electrical as well. So I saved a ton of money. If you are going to cut the line, make sure you add or subtract Freon accordingly. My pipes started freezing the first time we used it due to not having enough Freon and that was even after I cut one of the copper lines. Had to have a professional add the proper amount of Freon since I couldn’t get the refrigerant in in Town. If your unit freezes when you start using it, please shut it off and have the system charged properly. After the system has the proper amount of Freon, be ready to enjoy the comfort of your home. This machine is cools and heats your home and that is a huge deal.

Do this and you’ll be happy
We both the 18000 BTU Dual Zone two years ago. We now like it but we originally made these two mistakes. A) do not place the condenser on the wall. The vibrations will drive you crazy. B) Be consistent with cleaning the filters. The often you do the better. We do it every 40 days, it’s very very easy and makes the unit work very efficiently.

High quality, low price
This system has been great. It kept my house so cozy during winter, even in temps as low as 3° F. Now temps have been getting up to high 80s and it keeps my house cool and I'm confident it will continue to do so when the heat waves hit in July. The air quality has improved a ton since it was installed, even with 3 indoor cats. Everything was installed by an HVAC professional as a side gig for a really reasonable price and I added a UV light to the living room head unit. I think this is a great system and I would definitely buy it again. It's very quiet, has a lot of customizable modes and is easy to use.

Great product, Great product support from Senville
Our first time installing a mini split. This package included two units, two 15 foot line sets and two 15 ft communication cables which were easy to install, however too short for the 2nd floor unit. A quick call to Senville and they happily exchanged a line set and a communication cable for 25' ones. In addition, the package didn't include the condensation lines (we needed 2, one for each unit) , got them for $10 each on Amazon. The only problem we had was putting the bracket securely in the drywall. The location of the center bracket fell smack in the center of the wall stud and I needed better wall anchors for the ends of the bracket then the ones provided. After the replacement (longer) lines arrived it took about 2 hours to connect wires, line sets, mount indoor units and run outdoor lines. The next day my AC guy arrived, and after checking for leaks, and connecting the line sets and communication cable, boom we had heat. The unit is so quiet we didn't even know it was on! Remember to have your AC company fill out your warranty cards after they complete the final hook up and email them to the email address located on the warranty card. A 7 year warranty...not bad! All in all great product, easy to install. I would have spent minimum of $4500 to have an HVAC company do what we did in two hours. I saved over $2200 going this route. A big shout out to Sam at Senville for all his help, Thank you! .....

Good, but....
This is my second attempt to submit a review. Apparently I gave a link to an outside source and such links are not allowed, so I went to edit, which is a farce because you actually start from scratch... Thanks Amazon, I spent a lot of time give clean useful ( I believe ) information to help the next buyer of this unit.... Anyhow: The is my second dual zone I've installed myself... and I feel the first was successful, even tho the fan has become much louder over time . That was in 2019 and the unit still works. This second delivery came and one of the two inside units was rough ( the fins were bent/ smashed ) in multiple places, which I straighten back with a utility knife. TO BE CONSIDERED: DYI'ers should check with whom they would have vacuum and release the coolant, if they are seeking to maintain the warranty. I found in my area that nobody wants to provide such service ( odd, I know ). Given the situation, I decided to vacuum and release myself... and after many Youtube videos, finally ran across a James Harmon video wherein the fellow gave the clearest/ best procedure that made the process full proof ( and there were some video's that left me with big questions ). I should mention one good ideal I picked up elsewhere was that one can let the vacuum test sit for 3 or 4 hours after the pump is off ( doesn't hurt to be sure the vacuum holds )... I happen to turn the pump back on again after the 4 hours and then released the coolant because that doesn't hurt either.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY! bad thermostatic control
UPDATE: THIS IS MY THIRD SEASON USING THE SYSTEM AND THE THERMOSTATIC CONTROL STILL DOESN'T WORK. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING THESE! WHY?ALMOST NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THERE'S NO OFFICIAL SERVICE COMPANY THAT THEY RECOMMEND. WHEN I SPOKE TO CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY WANTED TO SEND ME A CIRCUIT BOARD TO REPLACE IN MY HEAD UNITS. I'M SORRY BUT I AM NOT A TECHNICIAN I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THAT. WHEN I TOLD THEM THAT THEY SAID I WAS SOL.YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR SO KEEP THAT IN MIND. OLD POST: The thermostatic control is almost non-existent. The head units seem to have to be reset and heating mode in order for them to read the room temperature from the remote control. I call customer service several times and got confusing instructions. Essentially I have to manually control the units. Very frustrating. This seems to be at least a four to 10° swing in temperature before they turn on and off. In air conditioning mode they work very well and are very efficient but still have the thermostat control issue. Until the company resolves the problem I would not recommend them.
