This this is a beast, it's huge, thick heavy glass. Mouth is larger than expected, but I had a #8 stopper and it's small for this but works. The hose fitting is also large. Although a standard size rigid air hose will fit snuggly inside the barbed hole not over it, Which is even better since I can use a blood pressure pump. Overall it's great purchase, be sure to have a large stopper, I drilled a hole in a #8.

The vendor should correct the information regarding the size of the neck. It indicates that the size is 31.5 mm which is wrong. The plugs that I bought of 26 mm does not fit because the actual neck size of the flask is 23 mm.

I like the heavy duty feel to this filtration flask. I do not like the vacuum nipple sits low on the shoulder of the flask: If a person does not prepare a trap for the pump, you may get liquid in your vacuum pump. Before you buy, measure the stem of your funnel and make sure the stem is below the filtration flask vacuum nipple. If I would have planned properly this could be a good value.

I just bought both some of this flask, and some corks/stoppers, at the same time.But I ended up with corks too big to fit the flask, because the top opening in the flask was not the 35 mm marked in the image.The top opening of the flask has an outside diameter of 36.5 mm, and an inside diameter of 29 mm.It's the inside diameter of 29 mm that has to fit the cork/stopper. The 31 to 36 mm tapered stoppers I now have are of no use to me for this.

This is pretty thin glass and I knew that after opening the package when it arrived. For that reason alone, I should have returned it for a real borosilicate glass flask but I kept it anyways. Big mistake. I've had it for a week and have been filtering herbal infused oils with it. I've used it three times and took it out to use today and it broke. Bummer. Not sure I can return it now.
