Exactly What Was Needed
I am really satisfied with this wedge pillow. I have sciatica and my physical therapist suggested that I try elevating my legs at a 90-degree angle to alleviate pain so I could sleep. It's very difficult to achieve this angle with regular pillows. I finally decided I had to get serious about something that would work and this does! I have a very comfortable pillow that helps me to elevate my legs to an angle that works for my condition. It's great to have a tool that means that after I have done my exercises to reduce my pain I can go to sleep without my position in bed undoing all my exercise work. The pillow is the size indicated and only took a couple of hours after unpacking it from its squished packaging to plump up and reach its maximum size. I haven't had it very long so I haven't had occasion to clean the cover yet so I can't comment on how easy it is to take off and wash. I would definitely order again based on my experience so far.Added later: This pillow has retained its shape, firmness, and size. The cover is easy to remove and clean. It's still doing its job for my pain! I love it.

Love my leg pillow
I adore my leg elevation pillow. After being on my feet all day it really helps me not feel as sore. I bought this one for the cover that can be removed and washed. My pillow before this had a non removable cover that my dog shredded. This cover is strong but easy to put on the ramp.

The Cover Pills - A lot
I've had this less than two weeks and the cover has pilled a lot. The photo I posted is after less than two weeks of usage and shaving with both a two bladed disposable razor and a sweater shaver. I tried using a two bladed disposable razor to remove the pills and that got some. I then ordered a sweater shaver because I don't have one and it seemed like a good item to have around. The pilling is so bad and the fibers are so long that it will actually jam the shaver if I'm not careful. Even with daily shaving the pills are large and numerous. My sewing machine is out of commission and not at my current residence or I'd be making a new cover for it out of cotton. That's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars - making a new cover for it would be easy since it's a wedge shape.Other than the pilling the memory foam is comfortably firm. The pillow is a nice height for me, I'm 5'4" tall and the pillow is about 8" tall. It came compressed into a very small box. I opened it around 4pm in the afternoon, by bedtime, around 10pm, it was fully expanded and firm. I did not notice the strong petroleum smell I've noticed with other memory foam products. I'm satisfied with the pillow for the price I paid but the pilling is annoying. I will be making another cover for it and probably wedging a pillowcase over it in the mean time.Edit: I turned the cover inside out and I'm not having the pilling issue. So there's a temporary solution.

It works for me
I ordered this item in hopes that it would help alleviate some of sciatic nerve pain during the night. The foam is a very good quality, to last a long time. The white covering appears to be of a quality material, with a zipper in order to easily undo the pillow and cover and easily wash the cover. The illustrations on how to use this item, did not work for me. However, I turned it around with the higher portion near me, and it is great now with positioning my leg to be pain free. The 7-inch height of this pillow seemed strange at first, and not an option. However, it does work in this position. I am certain that the height will ease over time

Not Wide Obese leg friendly 😫
The media could not be loaded. I rated this product a three because it works and is quite comfy but...... based off the pictures provided in marketing , I was under the presumption that the pillow was "WIDE LEGGED" well to my obese pals it's not big leg friendly , comfy! but not friendly if your in a pinch it'll work out for a lil while but later you will need to order a custom one or get one that is truly bigger nor wide legged and has the leg compartment. Hope this helps : )

really helps alleviate my foot pain
This "pillow" has helped me have several great nights' sleep. I am cradled/held in place and both my back and legs are grateful. Yes, it is awkward sometimes to get in and out of bed, but I'm working on the system, and to tell the truth, most nights I haven't moved once I've installed myself. I have supination and some leg swelling. It really makes a difference in the morning. Much less painful hobbling. Like with my compression socks, I alternate and only use it maybe every other day. Loving it so far!

Sturdy with a soft fabric, it kept my leg elevated as I recovered from surgery
I had post tibial tendon surgery and this was perfect for keeping my leg elevated above my heart after I returned home. I'm a side sleeper, so sleeping at night was a challenge, but then again wearing a post surgery boot 24-7 for six weeks was a challenge anyway. Both my legs fit on it, I'm not that tall and it supported my whole leg with my heel hanging over the edge. It has a soft fabric covering that would catch on the velcro bits of my post-surgery boot. The snags didn't bother me, as it has a single use which was for recovery. Besides, I figured that slight resistance kept my foot in the correct position. My leg never rolled off the edge, perfect for my needs. It didn't make me hot, and I usually get bed hot in the middle of the night. Sometimes when I just needed to turn, I'd tuck my good leg under the wedge. My doctor stressed being non-weight bearing and to elevate my leg as much as possible at least for the first week of recovery. I went longer than he required, mostly because it felt good to have support under my leg. Then when I began PT and had exercises to do at home, I'd use it as a support similar to what I used during PT.
