I'm a doodler and a Journal/Sketchbook Junkie. I have more types and kinds then I can count and will most likely be able to use in a lifetime. I specifically bought these three for Doodling. I have one on my nightstand, one on the end table in family room and one in my office area. Each accompanied with a pencil bag of identical favorite pens, pencil and eraser. My husband just shakes his head as my hobbies are way less expensive then his but I do see the comedy in my 3 Identical Sets. The paper is rated as 100gsm according to the description. This is the rating of average home printer paper that you buy in 500 sheet packs at Walmart. Ive included some pictures to exhibit uses. Sharpie markers obviously bleed threw as shown. I just put a folded piece of paper behind sheet to protect next page. Micron pens don't bleed nor do Crayola Markers and others like them. Gel Pens don't bleed but can be clearly scene on back of page. All types of pencils work well and erase well. The books are perfect for doodling, sketching, writing, etc. It doesn't lay flat perfectly but well enough. I use a clip to hold down any unruly pages or a rubber band. Both work equally well. The A5 Size makes it perfect to slip into a handbag, purse, bookbag, etc. I throw mine in my bag along with small generic zip up pencil case with no problems. Its perfect for killing time in waiting rooms or wherever you may find yourself trying to kill some time. I love the basic kraft paper book cover. When one is complete I can easily decorate by drawing, coloring etc. I can leave as is or easily cover with some fabric and a hot glue gun. These would be perfect for uniquely decorating and gifting to someone. The price is just another reason to love as the value for price is Outstanding! I've seen others selling in low twenties which to me is outrageous. I will be buying more as my daughter has found some craft project she wants to try. The project calls for this type of journal/Sketchbook. At this price I can afford to buy multiple in case the initial craft project try goes awry. Hope the pics help.

Great quality and durable. Perfect for the budding artist. The size of the books are ideal for sketching and the quality of the paper is strong. Markers do not bleed through, and perfect forbcrayins and colored pencils. Great value for the money!

I love how sturdy these are! They have a great spine and wonderful pages . We use them for nature study and they come in handy when we draw and color without bleeding through. The page texture is wonderful. They are perfect for the creative person who is looking for drawing or just journaling .

Perfect for my daughter who loves to paint, draw, and write stories! They were a great price, great quality, and I'll buy more when she runs out! She feels like she's an author and an illustrator! So cool!

I love using this blank notebook to make it completely my own. Each one ends up with its own theme that I decorate it with. The book is a great travel size. It has good paper quality although a little transparent depending on the ink you use. Red ink doesn’t seem to bleed through as much, but sharpie pens and dark ink doesn’t seem show through.

This is a great set of blank booklets for kids to write down their imaginations on. All 4 kids have used these books through the years. It's great to have kids use this versus being on video games or watching TV.

My 15 year old niece put this item on her Christmas list and she liked the books for her creativity in drawing. She uses each book to create drawings.

Put these in the car for the kids while we need to drive somewhere. Keeps them occupied the entire and they all look forward to drawing or writing in them. Has helped kids who are anxious in the car and those who get car sick.
