Adds crispness without bitterness!
Saw this recommended for a dill pickle recipe I was trying. I always avoided using alum (due to the bitterness it can impart) so historically end up with wussy dills (yuck). This stuff works great - we had nice crisp, yummy dills! Great find.

Can tell the difference when we used this for pickled jalapeños. They came out must more crisp. Easy to use with great results

I must for pickles
Product is expensive for the amount you get but it does work! Starting to find lot of items cheaper than Amazon lately! Will not buy from them again on this!

It’s great
This works great to keep my pickles crispy, I am also trying it in home canned dried beans to keep them from getting mushy.
