Xylitol has a 'cooling' taste and I actually prefer it to sugar. But the main reason I am using this product (its expensive) is for its health benefits and tooth protection. Avoiding sugar is essential especially as you get older and less active, so to avoid diabetes switch to something like Xylitol. The price is around 5 to 10 times that of regular sugar, so I don't totally avoid regular sugar when baking, but substitute 50% for Xylitol, which helps it go further. This particular brand is a good price and so I will keep buying it because regular sugar is not a healthy option and you will already intake enough of it through normal regular food, so anything you can do to reduce it is good. Never take anything in excess, so vary what you eat, don't avoid some things that might seem bad, because most things are just fine if you vary what you eat and don't eat too much of any one thing like cakes ... LOL

Great product. We have replace all sugar in our household with Nature Diet Xylitol, ideal for cooking, baking, sprinkling on cereal and added to drinks. Perfect for my husband now he is a diabetic.

This is surprisingly very good indeed.I did some digging into its provinance online,which produced the fact that this particular variant of sugar substitute is made from corn,rather than birch trees.It is also manufactured in China,under quite strict health and production criteria,before being shipped over to the UK for bulk distribution.It's every bit as good,if not better than the more expensive xylitol.The taste and texture is excellent and it also contains zero calories.All in all,a very happy discovery and i'm pleased that someone went to the trouble of investigating just how good the production values are from fields to end product.Easy 5 stars.

Love this product, best value and best taste, the only reason it's not getting 5 stars is the packaging. It never reveals, I've been buying this for quite some time now and I've not ever had one packet that does, apart from that it's great.

Use this as a mouth wash throughout the day between brushing my teeth, swish it around and get it around every tooth to prevent any plaque growth. Works perfectly and has leaves my teeth feeling smooth as anything. Can also be used as a sugar substitute as it tastes exactly the same without the calories. Just make sure to keep it out of the reach of any pets!

This sweetener is the best I've tried. Far better than the power/tablet ones. This is the closest I've come to a real sugar taste. I find you have to use a little more than you would for a sugar (I normally have half a teaspoon of sugar in tea, but use nearly a spoon of this) but that is far better than using sugar all the time, especially when you're having around 4 - 8 cups of tea per day!

Good value for money. Tastes just like sugar. Very fine texture makes it ideal for baking
