Very comfortable, stylish and great rain coverage
This coat is the perfect trench. Wore it in the rain walking in NYC and it was water repellent and cozy. Pockets are nice and deep, hood gave rain protection. Not too heavy, I was able to wear a warm, long cardigan underneath. I am 5'6, 129lbs, length hit just above the ankle. Bought the black, small. Very well made, highly recommend.

This is a Classic, Beautifully, Well-Made, Quality Coat; Exchanged for the Same Shorter Style
This a classic, beautiful, well-made, great quality women's trench coat. The fabric, construction are very good quality. It is too long, sweeping my ankles. The coat otherwise fit perfectly in a size XL. Fit great through chest, waist, hips, shoulders. I am a bit curvy in the hips. I wear at 14 misses in regular sizes and am a little under 5' 5". I exchanged this long coat for the shorter version of this same coat by London Fog. It would wonderful if London Fog made this for petites and offered it here. The buttons are a little large but I find they fit well this style and they are beautiful button. Almost like a rich, darker tortoise shell look. I love that this coat has a hood as well. Wonderful coat. Looking forward to receiving the shorter style which will work better for my height.

Classic Top Quality and True-to-Size Trenchcoat - Without the Frumpiness!
My new London Fog trench exceeded my expectations -- the big question is always how accurate the sizing will be. I ordered a size Large as I am a true size 10, being 5'9" and having broader shoulders and longer arms than most. The cut of a coat varies wildly in these areas for me. Even with a bulky fleece top underneath, this coat fits me well in those key areas, and I love the length, which falls mid-calf on me. It's a classic look, yet somehow more flattering and stylish than the old school trench. The detailing is well done. It does have two front vents (not one, as pictured), which I was happy to see. I love the very deep and generous pockets! The buttons are a tortoise-shell look, which add interest as opposed to a plain black. I also like the generous-sized (detachable) hood, neither too tight nor too floppy. The fabric is definitely water resistant, but if you're in a heavy downpour, you'd probably also want an umbrella.I think an added bonus is that this coat will look great both with casual outfits and to cover up dressier attire. And because it's lighter weight, I'm definitely taking this with me for Fall and Spring travel!

Narrow shoulders, great trench
This is a beautiful jacket; however, I found the width of the shoulders to be a bit narrow. Everything else fits perfectly and it’s of very good quality. If you have broad shoulders, definitely size up.

Classy raincoat and good value
This raincoat is beautiful, well made, and looks like ones that cost twice as much! I did have it hemmed as I’m only 5’ 2” and it was long on me; now it’s just perfect.

I'm a longstanding London Fog customer
This Amazon London Fog store is genuine; it does not sell fakes. I know London Fog products well, having bought many for years. This coat is the real deal. Do not hesitate to buy. I just got mine in black, size medium. It arrived in 3 days. I normally order from the manufacturer's own website, but they were out of black maxi trenches. They have this one in a lovely rose color that is tempting, but I wanted black. I had to replace my 8-year-old London Fog Juliet coat that I accidently scorched while pressing. I also tore my 6-year-old tan Sophie coat. Bad luck! Sad face! :-( Those coats had plaid felt zip-out warmers which were nice. Unfortunately, London Fog retired the styles with warmers. The quality of this exterior shell and the details are the same as before. The material resembles shiny black silk trench coats from high end manufacturers. This is not a cheap look; do not pay attention to the naysayers. I usually wear US size 10-12, and I am 5 feet 6 inches. The medium fits just fine with sweaters underneath, although I would not wear my bulkiest one. There is more room in the arms and shoulders than my old Juliet coat, probably because the lining is black satin and no warmer to take up extra room. The length is about 3/4 of my height. It does not reach the ground and no hemming is necessary. I hope London Fog stays in business because I love their coats. They had some financial difficulties during the pandemic, and I hope they recover fully to stay in business.
